They had many conversations throughout breakfast, including Quidditch, pranks, and even schoolwork. But now that breakfast was over it was time for class to start. Fred, George, Azure, and Lee all trudged down the corridors to their classes. Fred and George had Charms, Lee had Transfiguration, meanwhile Azure had Potions which she was not looking forward to.

She didn't hate Potions, she just hated Snape and the way he acted, always making you feel bad about yourself. He made you feel like you weren't good enough, he was always so melancholy. And she was also just not looking forward to the test that she was going to have to take when she got there. Azure was intelligent, plenty of it, she just hated doing the work. She had a hard time concentrating and was also a huge procrastinator. She just wanted to make the most of things, she just wanted to live life while she could and have fun. But it seemed that Hogwarts had other plans for her.

She said her goodbyes to Lee and the twins, and slowly walked to Potions. When she arrived she took a huge deep breath, before going into the classroom. She walked over to her usual area right in the back. Taking her books out she heard someone settle into the seat next to hers. A heavenly voice rang through her ears, "Hi Azure." She would know that voice anywhere, it belonged to a dear friend of hers named Quinn Tomlinson. Quinn was the nicest Slytherin Azure had ever met. Sure she could be sometimes obnoxious, but for the most part she was an absolute sweetheart. Her hazel eyes shone as she smiled at Azure. Quinn's golden blonde hair looked almost brown in the darkness of the room. Her fair skin practically glowing in the dark.

"Hey Quinn, how's your morning been so far?" Quinn took out her books and practically had a halo around her.

"I'm great! How about you, are you doing alright?" Quinn's voice peaked with curiousness and a loving attitude. Azure thought hard for a while. Was she doing okay? Nobody had asked her that in a while, although she was doing fine it still would've been nice if someone asked her how she was feeling.

She turned towards Quinn with a caring smile. "Thanks for asking, I've been doing pretty well lately and-" Her voice was muffled by another, a more mysterious and almost broken voice. Professor Snape.

"Books away and no more talking, we are going to be taking a test." He slurred his words, his eyes landing on each and every one of us as he spoke. Once we had gotten our tests I realized how anxious I truly was, but I worked my hardest on it. Giving it my all, hoping that I would pass the test. And just like that it was over.

We finished our tests and it was time for us to leave the class. I stumbled my way out, when suddenly behind me I heard a certain someone calling my name.

"Miss Binx, can I speak to you for a moment?" Snape hissed. I turned back around and walked towards him, putting on my best fake smile as I could.

"What is it Professor?" I tried not to sound annoyed as I spoke. He was glaring at me, or maybe that's just how he looked? Either way he was starting to irritate me, with his smug and hateful stare.

"You did exceptionally well today on the test, putting good use to that brain of yours." His words caught me off guard, certainly not expecting to hear a compliment come out of Snape's mouth. Then he started again, "However I know that you and those Weasley boys were the ones responsible for my hair turning periwinkle last week, so I'm docking five points from Gryffindor and you have detention to own up to your actions." The slimy git. Sure what me, Fred, and George did was horrible. But it was also hilarious and harmless fun.

"Yes I understand Professor, it won't happen again." Oh but it would happen again. I walked away once I knew that I could and headed for my next class. I remember when I first met the two troublemakers.
