The First Day

This section is fairly short and sweet, since only five edits occured on the article's first day of existance...of course, excluding the first thirty minutes.

The first and second edit were made by Wikipedia editor 'Ser Amantio di Nicolao'. One thing that sets this editor apart of others, is his dedication to editing Wikipedia. Checking his total number of edits is impossible, since the Wikipedia tool used to check an editors edit count only goes up to 500,000. All I can tell you, is that 'Ser Amantio di Nicolao' has made more than half a million edits on Wikipedia. The first edit 'Ser Amantio di Nicolao' did (18:48 UTC) was removing the article from Wikipedia's category of "2021 crimes in the United States", which is slightly confusing, since the crime was commited against a company in the United States. The second edit was a minute later and it fixed a simple grammar mistake where the article said "effected" and they changed it to "affected".

The third edit, wasn't even by a Wikipedia editor. Your mind probably just went to thinking, "Oh, so it was a Wikipedia admin then.", but, you would be completely wrong. This edit was done by 'Yapperbot', which is a bot on Wikipedia. If you recall back to the article's first thirty minutes, you might remember the "current event tag" that editor 'Elijahandskip' added to the article. Well, Yapperbot's job is to remove that current event tag if the article hasn't been edited in five hours. So at 00:00 UTC on June 3, 2021, Yapperbot removed the current event tag on the article.

The fourth edit was done by editor 'Jim Michael', an editor with over 125,000 edits[a]. 'Jim Michael' simply added the Steamship Authority cyberattack article to Wikipedia's category of "crimes in Massachusetts".

The fifth edit was done by editor 'Tepkunset'. His contribution edit included some more information for the article about how "Security experts fear this could be the start of a larger attack."[b] and 'Tepkunset' added an article from CBS based in Boston as a reference. Just a quick fun fact, but that edit was the 198 edit of 'Tepkunset'.

After existing for 24 hours, Wikipedia's Steamship Authority cyberattack article only contained 1,962 bytes worth of data. ——————————————————————————————————————————————————
