Clara'a eyes slowly fluttered open, she looked to her surrounding and by the antiseptic smell, she knew that she was in the hospital. She slowly got up and as soon as she did, someone suddenly hugged her.
"Oh my baby girl!! I was so worried!!" Renée cried.
"Mom?" Clara asked. Renée pulled back nodding.
"It's me. I'm so grateful to Dr Cullen. Bella had fallen off the stairs and out the window and you got into an accident while driving to the hospital. Charlie and I immediately came." Renée explained.
Clara nodded trying to act as if this wasn't her first time hearing the tale. A good excuse it was. She looked to the side and smiled at Jasper who sat, pretending to be asleep.
"He hasn't left your side at all." Charlie stated catching his daughter's stare, "You've got a good one."
Renée smiled and knowing that her daughter would want to sleep some more, pushed Charlie out as well. Once they left, Clara looked to Jasper.
"Cut off the act Jaz and give me a very much needed big hug." Clara said. Jasper's eyes instantly opened and a grin formed on his face as he lay beside Clara and gently hugged her.
"I'm so glad you're okay." Jasper kissed her head, "I thought I lost you for a while there. And you don't know how much my world came falling apart." Jasper's voice cracked at the end.
"Hey, hey." Clara cupped his face and smiled, "I'm alright okay? I'm not leaving you Jaz."
"But still, I'm so sorry. You got hurt and your life was put on danger because of me. If only I hadn't brought you in to this supernatural world." Jasper apologised.
Clara shook her head. "Listen to me Jaz, I had the chance to leave when you told me about it all. I knew about the dangers but I risked it and brought myself in. Don't ever blame yourself. Understand?"
Jasper just thanked the universe. What had he done to deserve such a beautiful, amazing and understanding girl like Clara who showed him so much love and joy?
"I love you Darlin'." He whispered. Clara giggled snuggling closer to him.
"I know." She replied.

Clara looked at herself in the mirror. It was a day after she awoke and after further check up, the hospital deemed her ready to leave. She had just finished getting ready for Prom.
Her hair was tied in a up in a bun and she applied a smoky-ish makeup to her face. She wore a black coloured gown which was simple but stylish and had a chiffon cape. She matched it up with silver high pumps which were hidden by her long dress.

Bella entered her room. She had a olive green knee length leggings on and wore a blue dress which Alice Clara bought for her along with sneakers.
"You look beautiful Clara." Bella breadth. Clara giggled. "You too Bella. But seriously sneakers?"
