It had been a few days after the battle. Peace withheld the vampire household again. Today was a particularly weird day for Clara.
One, she hadn't seen nor heard Jasper and he hadn't come through her window.
Two, when she called Alice and Rosalie, they gave very vague answers but Clara didn't miss the high volume of excitement in their voice. Alice was worse, she even squealed so loud that Clara was sure something was definitely up.
Three, Bella randomly wanted a sibling day. She claimed that she was too busy with Edward and now wanted to spend time with Clara. Clara didn't mind and gladly agreed but she definitely knew that Bella was hiding something by the way she kept dodging any question related to Jasper.
After an entire day of a fun hangout, Clara finally decided to ask. "Bella, don't lie to me. What's going on? Why are you all acting so weird?"
Bella stiffened and awkwardly laughed. "Nothing much is going on. Listen, just dress up quick."
"What-" before Clara could finish, Bella pushed her into the room and closed the door and locked it from outside.
"I'm not opening it till you dress up." Bella told from the other side of the door. Clara laughed, rolling her eyes.
"Bella, mind you, I can break open this door." The younger sibling reminded and Bella lightly hit herself.
"But since you want me to dress up so badly, I will." The younger one told and opened her wardrobe. "So what's the occasion?"
"Uh..... anything .....?" Bella replied and Clara rolled her eyes. Bella was really a nervous wreck and this made Clara wonder what the occasion was that was supposed to remain such a big secret.
After doing her makeup and waving her hair at the ends, Clara put on a short black dress over which she layered a purple mini dress and to finish the look was heeled black foots.

"Alright. I'm ready. Now can you tell me where I have to drive?" Clara asked as she got in to her car. Bella nodded.
"Yeah. The Cullens house."
Clara nodded and started driving off. It didn't take long to reach the lit up modern glass house. Clara and Bella walked in. When they did, Clara saw all the Cullens except Jasper were gathered in the living room. She raised a brow.
"Where's Jasper?" She asked. Alice bounced lightly in her seat and Rosalie gestured to her husband.
"Emmett. Lead her." Edward nodded. Emmett smirked and got up.
"Come on Clara. Try to keep up." He said and disappeared in a blur.
"I really don't understand what's going on." Clara sighed and followed Emmett instantly.
As they ran, Emmett abruptly stopped and Clara had to balance herself completely to not fall off the cliff from the speed she was going at.
"Hey Em can you just tell me already? I've been left in the dark this entire day." Clara pouted. Emmett snorted and pointed to a route.
