CHAPTER 5: Who Is She?

After sometime, Jihoon walked the bride down the aisle. Everybody's eyes were on the bride but the bride had a long veil covering her face. So everybody stared talking among themselves. Jimin too was shocked. Then Emily asked Jiwoo, "Mrs. Jiwoo, why Soojin has covered her face with the veil? Nowadays nobody does it". Cutting Emily's sentence, Jiwoo said, "Uhh.. Actually it's our family ritual and that's why we have to do it", Jihoon too nodded his head indicating that he too is agreeing with Jiwoo's statement.

Jimin forwarded his hand towards the bride. And the priest started the wedding ritual. But Emily was carefully watching the bride and the Kang family but seeing Jimin's smile, she couldn't say anything. After sometime, the wedding was over. And the priest told them to take blessings from everyone. After taking blessings from Jiwoo, she told something in bride's ear. And after taking their blessings, Emily asked Jiwoo, "Can I see the bride's face now?". But Jiwoo declined and told them to do that after reaching home. Emily told her daughter, Rosie to make arrangements for their departure.

After sometime, all of them left from there to the Park Mansion where everybody was an quite anxious to see the bride's face. Then Emily exclaimed excitedly, "Yes, I too want to see her face. Jimin-ah remove the veil". As soon as Jimin remove her veil, on one side all the relatives were complementing her. But on the other side, Park family was completely shocked seeing the bride's face. The paparazzi too was present there and wanted to take their pictures. But the surprising thing was, Jimin looked at the paparazzi while smiling and said, "Meet my wife. She is Mrs. Park". Among all of them, Tae was the one who was the most shocked because the bride was nobody else but Y/n who was hit by Jimin's car and Tae was trying his best to supress the matter but seeing Jimin's smile, he couldn't understand anything. Seeing the grand mansion of the Park Family and the decorations, Y/n remembered what Jiwoo told her.

Flashback:
When Jiwoo was knocking at Soojin's door to make sure she was ready. After knocking the door for a while, the door opened as it was not at all locked. Jiwoo thought that she was in the washroom. But after some seconds, she cam eout of the bathroom while crying. And started yelling for Soojin. She ran to Jihoon who was standing outside the door, "Jihoon, Soojin is not in her room". Listening this, Jihoon immediately came inside the room and started asking Jiwoo about Soojin. But before she could answer, her eyes fell on a chit pinned against the wall near the big mirror. She went towards it and read it.

She started feeling dizzy after reading this. Jihoon too read it and angrily said, "How can Soojin do this to her own family?". But today it was about the reputation of the Kang family. After sometime, he dialled someone's number and told the person to come to Soojin's room. Knocking the door of Soojin's room, Y/n came inside. On seeing her, Jiwoo angrily told her, "I had told you not to come out of your room, right? What are doing in Soojin's room?", cutting her off in the middle, Jihoon told, "I have called Y/n". On listening to him Jiwoo started asking him the reason for calling her her. But ignoring her question, Jihoon held Y/n's hand and started requesting her to marry in place of Soojin, "Dear, Soojin ran away. Will you marry Jimin in place of her?". Y/n was shocked on listening this but she immediately denied it. On listening him, Jiwoo became more angry and she too denied it. But Jihoon said, "Y/n, today our family's reputation is in your hands. Please atleast for me agree to this marriage. Now only you can help us". Listening to Jihoon, Y/n said, "But-but Dad how can I? That family will never accept me". Listening her, Jiwoo said, "No, noone can take my daughter's place. Jihoon I can't let her take my daughter's place". Jihoon shut her up and told her, "For now we don't have any other choice. So get her ready! I will be standing outside, do it fast and call me!". Jiwoo agreed to Jihoon but looking at Y/n she said, "For now we don't have any other choice that's why I am giving you my daughter's place but always remember who you are! You are a SUBSTITUTE! Remember this name I have given because this is what you are! A substitute for my daughter who is just filling up the void created by her! After she returns, you have to give her life back to her. You are going to live her life just for a short period. But as soon as Soojin returns, you have to leave Jimin and the Park family. Anyways after Soojin returns, they themselves will kick you out because Park family has already accepted Soojin.
Flashback end...

(Present time)
Jimin introduced Y/n as Mrs. Park! From now, Y/n was Mrs. Park for the whole world but Jiwoo's words were roaming in her head. Meanwhile Park family was constantly staring at Y/n. Slowly all the guests left. Now only Jimin's family and Y/n are left at the mansion. As soon as all the guests left, Jimin held Y/n's hand and angrily yelled, "Who are you and where is Soojin? Where have you kept her? Tell me! Else it won't be good for you. Tell me where have you kept my Soojin. I think you don't have any idea about how powerful I am". Seeing Y/n silent was adding more to Jimin's anger. "See girl, don't try to test my patience, the consequences will be too bad". Listening to him, Sejoo (Jimin's father) said, "Jimin, call the cops then only she will tell us about Soojin". After listening to Park family, Y/n became so worried that she had no way other than telling Jimin about everything. She told, "Please listen to me just once. I am Kang Y/n, Soojin's sister". Listening to her the Park family was completely shocked as they hadn't ever seen her. Emily looked at Y/n and told her, "Don't lie! How can you be Soojin's sister? Neither we had seen you till now nor Kang family has ever told us anything about you and Jimin how could you just introduce any random girl as Mrs. Park?". Listening to her Jimin told, "Mom I didn't have any other options at that time. I didn't want to make any fuss infront of the media so I did that and once I find Soojin, I will explain this girl what she has done was a wrong move for her". The Park family was busy talking among themselves, nobody was listening to Y/n. Y/n was standing alone in a corner and was crying. Seeing her crying, Jimin's grandma came towards her and said, "See daughter, we don't know who you are and where Soojin is! If you know then tell us we won't hand you over to the cops but if you won't tell then I can't stop Jimin because he loves Soojin very much". Y/n started speaking in between her cries, "Please believe me, I myself don't know where's Soojin. If I would have know then I wouldn't have taken her place. What would I get from kidnapping Soojin? I myself didn't wanted to do this marriage but I agreed for this marriage just because of my family". Listening to her, Jimin couldn't control his anger. He harshly grabbed Y/n's hand and pushed her out of the house.

But taking Y/n's words into concern, Sejoo immediately called the Kang family and put the phone on speaker so that everybody can know the truth. On the other side, Jiwoo, "I don't know what will happen when the Park family will get to know that Soojin ran away from the marriage!". Listening her, Jihoon said, "Till now you are thinking about yourself and Soojin? Just once can't you be selfless and think about Y/n? If they say anything to Y/n or misbehave with her then what will happen? And her health is also not well." Saying this , he went to his room. At the time, he received a call from Sejoo. Seeing Sejoo's number on his screen, he scaredly answered, "Hello!". Listening his shaky voice, Sejoo angrily said, "What's this joke, Mr. Jihoon? And who is this girl? She is claiming herself as Soojin's sister. And most of all where is Soojin?". Listening to him, Jihoon spoke, "I know you all must be angry on us. But we ourselves don't know where Soojin is. When I and Jiwoo went to fetch her from her room, there was no one in the room. And at that time, it was about the reputation of both of our families because of which we had to take this step." Listening to him, Sejoo asked, "And this girl, Y/n, she is claiming herself as Soojin's sister. Is it true? But you never told us that you have another daughter? What had happened that till now you had hide her from us?". After listening him, Jihoon understood that the environment in the Park Mansion was completely heated so he said, "Yes it's true that Y/n is Soojin's sister. When you came to our house with the marriage proposal, at that time she was just discharged from the hospital because two months ago she had an accident and she had went into coma. Just a few days ago, she has gained her consciousness. That's why you hadn't ever met her and everything happened in such a rush that I too couldn't tell you anything."

As the phone was on speaker, Jimin was shocked listening about the accident and he started looking at Tae. Tae signalled him that Y/n was the girl who had an accident with his car. But everyone knew the truth that Soojin had ran away from the marriage.
