Under the sea with justain beiber

Justian slept well the night after the potluck. So well in fact that he almost forgot it was time for his weekly swim the next morning.

He quickly got out of bed and dressed in something he could easily take off when he got to the ocean. At some point, Justain's parents had started to refuse to give him car rides to the coast every week, so justian went to the closest bus stop that would take him the couple of hours. If he didn't turn into a mermaid today, it would happen on land at any moment.

The bus got to the beach in record time so Justian had time to get some lunch before he went out to the water. He got frys and ice cream. #healthy

That's when he heard it. The familiar laugh of Macky. Oh no, he thought. I have to hide.

Justain ran to the bathroom of the restaurant and peeked out a tiny bit. Sure enough not only Macky, but the entirety of the Snails was there.

"Move it, buddy," a gruff voice said from behind him. Justain looked up to see a man who had been using the bathroom. "I said move it." When Justain failed to move agin, the man pushed him out of the bathroom. Right where the whole team could see.

"Justain!" They all cheered. But Justain was not happy to see the team today.

When Karen asked him to sit and eat with them he tried to decline politely, but it came off a bit harsh.

Looking hurt, Karen sat back down and Justain took his opportunity to run. He would just have to find another beach to go to since the girls might look for him here.

When Justain finally found a secluded beach, he took off his clothes and jumped into the water, feeling his tail unravle to its full length. He laughed and splashed around. Compared to the colors of underwater, the land world was gray. The water called to Justain, the way a bird called to its mate.

He swam down passing fish and seaweed and even a couple of jellyfish. He said hi to all the creatures, though of course they didn't know how to say hello back.

After maybe half an hour of swimming, Justain felt fully ready to get back. He swam back to almost the surface to where he could see outside, but also still breathe the water through  his gills.

But when he got out of the water, Nans and Lisa were standing right there with sneers on both of their faces. "We knew there was something up with you," said Nans.

Lisa said, "I can't believe this, Justain. I though we could trust you."

Suddenly the rest of the team appeared over the side of the sand dune that blocked off his section of beach. This could not get any worse. They ran down the dune till the were standing near Nans and Lisa.

"Guys, we can't be mean to him now!" Said Macky, luckily taking Justains side.

"But look at him!" Said meagan, "he's a mer-mer-mermaid!!"

"That doesn't define him as a person," said Macky. Justain wished they would just stop talking about him as if he weren't here.

"How did you even find me?" Justain asked, a tear leaking down his cheek.

"We hid a secret GPS thing on you," said Lisa.

"Let's go, guys," said Nans. The Snails left him to sit and cry in the water.
