Hyunjin ran his tounge over his bottom lip as he looked at the time, his parents should be here any minute now.
At the sound of a knock on his door he took a deep breath and stood up, heading out of the kitchen and to the front door. Forcing a smile he opened it greeting his parents.
"Hyunjinnie, My baby how are you?" She asked a soft smile on her face. She had the same kind look on her face along with one filled with a tiredness most likely since she had gotten out of the hospital a day or two ago. "I'm good Eomma." He said taking her things for her and setting them down. He loved his Eomma unlike his Appa.
At a younger age he despised both of his parents, he hated them with a passion espically his father. The man who forced him into a private school restricted him from dancing or meeting with his friends everything that Hyunjin enjoyed was shut down to the point where he just started taking out his anger on his mother. He always saw her the same as his father, trying to restrict what he loved and enjoyed. Everytime she made him his favorite dinner or bought him a new got7 album for his birthday or just randomly he turned his back on her and locked himself in his room curled up in bed and blasting his music.
He regretted it, so deeply regretted pushing her away. A few weeks after that, he came home to his parents arguing so loud it could be heard throughout the entire house. Of course he heard them bicker before though it never really turned out into a whole fight.
He sighed pushing it aside as he walked to his room. Just as he went to opened his door was when he heard it the words that would forever stick with him the same ones that brought him to tears that night.
'Hyunjin doesn't deserve this treatment, he doesn't deserve us. Just let him do what he wants, to hang out with his friends. He's a teenage boy for god's sake! You haven't ever asked what Hyunjin ever though about this Dae-hyun!? I can't even talk to my own son anymore, he hates me..he hates us.' His mother shouted.
Hyunjin froze in place, listening as it went quiet and his Eommas sobbing filled the tense silence. A loud thump was followed by his father's panicked yells. Thinking the worst he dropped his backpack rushing over and slamming the door open, his eyes widening in horror at seeing his Eomma past out on the floor. "Call an ambulance!" His father said shakily as he looked at his wife in complete fear.
The doctors had said she passed out from all the stress that had been built up for awhile and that her blood pressure what higher than normal and in the end she would be fine.
Hyunjin never cried so much before, the fear that he could have lost his mother that day running through his head.
He remembered when she woke up, the first thing she did was apologize for everything saying she was sorry she couldn't be a good enough Eomma and she would try harder. Hyunjin cried in her arms saying he how much he loved her and that she shouldn't be sorry and he was suppose to be saying that.
A few days after his father turned back to his normal self strict and cruel as always and his Eomma he spent more time with her whether it was helping her make dinner or going out to enjoy the day.
After he moved out they still talked sometimes on the phone but it was rare since his mother was often resting or just tired due to her condition.
"You still look so handsome." She teased as Hyunjin led them into the kitchen. Smiling he gave a small chuckle looking over his Eomma. "You still look beautiful yourself." He said earning a small no from his mom as she sat down. His father stayed quiet, his expression emotionless as always. Sitting down Hyunjin lifted his chopsticks looking up at his parents. "So how has everything been?" He asked earning a small hum from his Appa.
"Buisness is good recently, sales have raised." He said grabbing some meat with his chopsticks. "And you Eomma?" He asked looking at his mother who sweetly smiled. "I'm alright, a little tired now days but I'm still here."
"What about you dear?" She asked taking a sip of water.
"I'm alright Eomma, but there is something I want to talk about." He said with a smile as he set down his chopsticks for a few seconds. His parents attention was fully on him now, even his father looked curious to what he was gonna say. "Recently I have someone in my life." Hyunjin said earning a gasp from his eomma who's eyes widened in surprise and a happy glint. His father stayed the same waiting for his next words.
"What I'm about to say next, I already know and I'm not changing my mind so if you don't support it fine by me." He said looking mainly at his father who narrowed his eyes on.
"Eomma. Appa. I have a hybrid a male hybrid."
His Eomma smiled looking at her son happily. "Thats great Hyunjinnie, what's his name?" She asked.
"Are you serious!?" His father asked looking at him with disgust as he slammed his hands down on the table. "Your A Faggot!?" He yelled with a scoff. Hyunjin sighed knowing that this was gonna happen. "On Top Of That Its With One Of Those Fucking Mistakes!" He screamed.
"YAH Don't Yell At Him Like That!" Mrs. Hwang said as she smacked her husband up the side of his head before looking at Hyunjin.
"I'm sorry dear, we should leave. I'll call you later." She said sadly. His father continued to scream and yell as his wife dragged him out of the house. Hyunjin sighed closing the door and looking at the clock. He could go see Jeongin now, a big smiled formed on his face as he grabbed the keys to the car
I'm coming Innie.
