It's Friday morning, I woke up as usual ready to go to college, exams week is finally over, I finally get to relax so I guess I'll go to my favorite bar at night, but for now I must attend classes.

 I was in my locker preparing my stuff when my bestfriend John came to say hello.

John- Morning dude

Y/n- Morning John

John- When are you getting a girlfriend so we can hang around on a double date?

Y/n- Is Becky going out with you tonight?

John- Yeah, I've told you many times to talk to girls

Y/n- Its really easy for you to say that  when you have a girlfriend

John- You complain a lot about it, instead of going out with people you always go to that shitty bar

Y/n- Its a nice place and I can meet people there

John- Oh yeah? How many people you've met there? Excluding people from college

Y/n- None, only Lindsey

John- She's from the other class and she only talked to you to get to know Robert

Y/n- I know, that shit hurt

John- I bet, but let me guess you're going there again tonight

Y/n- Since Becky and you are going out, yes

John- You should go on Tinder

Y/n- I don't believe in dating apps

John- I know, now let's go to class

I was on science class, it was boring so I wasn't paying attention, I was thinking about what John said, we are good friends and he cares about me that's why he always tries to set me with girls so we can hang out with our respective dates, I was never interested in those girls, sometimes I hate when he flexes his girlfriend and reminds me I don't have one, maybe he's right and I should be more brave and talk to more girls.

He said as he left, I walked back to my apartment it wasn't so far from the campus.

I played some COD until night time, then I decided to go to the bar.

Y/n- I waited all week for this moment

I said as I entered the bar

Bartender- The same as always

I was bored at the bar drinking  alone just watching the people walk by, I was running through my head when accidentally I looked at her and our eyes met, she smiled at me and I thought that was a signal for me to approach her.

I felt emboldened, took a sip of my beer and walked to where she was
