Chapter Thirty-One

 A few days after dinner with my dad, I get a text from Harry. It reads, "Lily! Talk to me. What have I done?" Within thirty minutes, I get a knock on my door. I'm confused, I wasn't expecting anyone. I place my eye in the peep hole. Niall? I unlock the door and open it. Niall says, "Hello." I reply, "How do you know where I live?" Niall shakes his head, "That's not important. I came to talk to you about Harry." I ask, "What about him?" Niall sincerely apologizes, "I should not have sent you that text. I know it's the reason why you're ignoring him--" I cut him off, "Niall it's okay." Niall replies, "No it's not. Remember how I said he was distracted? Now he's even more distracted and this time it's in a bad way. He mopes around. He's sad." Niall waves his hand over his shoulder, "I have an SUV waiting outside. Why don't you come with me. You can sort things out with Harry." I nod, I grab my coat and my keys, and I lock the door. Niall and I get in the car, and the driver takes off. I ask, "So what does Harry think you're doing?" Niall laughs, "Getting food. I stopped at McDonald's on the way." Niall and I arrive at a huge warehouse. When he opens the door, I see different video props and set ups. From a distance I see the rest of the boys in sailor suits. I easily notice Harry by the curls hanging out of the sailor hat. I stand behind Harry, "I like your outfit." Harry turns around smiling, "Lily! Hi beautiful. This is a nice surprise." I smile back, "Niall brought me actually." Harry turns around to tell Niall thanks. Harry asks, "Why haven't I heard from you?" I try to avoid eye contact, "I thought I would give you space. Since I heard I'm distracting you from work. I don't think I'm good for you." I look back at Harry, his facial expression seems to harden, "Who told you that?" Harry pulls me into a hug, "Space is the last thing I want. I might seem distracted but that's because I haven't felt this way in a long time. You're the best thing that has happened to me." Harry tightens our hug, "Please don't do that again. I don't know how I would take it." I smile in his chest, "I won't." Harry pulls away to kiss me.
