Chapter Seventy-Five

I open the door, expecting my dad; he's coming over for Christmas dinner. A young man is standing in front of me instead. A box decorated with One Direction wrapping paper and a bow, is held in his hands. He pulls one headphone out of his ear, "Package for Miss Scott?" I nod my head, "That's me." He pulls out a clipboard and a pen from his bag, "Sign here." I raise my eyebrow, and tilt my head in confusion. I sign my name and take the box from his hands, "Thank you," I murmur. I walk the present to my couch. I rip open the One Direction wrapping paper. A smile tugs at my lips, it's obviously from Harry. I open the box to find a card sitting on top of wrapped presents. I flip the card open, in Harry's handwriting reads, "Merry Christmas beautiful <3 Hopefully these presents will make you feel like I'm with you and not 5,000 miles away. I love you, babe. P.S. Five more days." I set the card on the couch. I anxiously unwrap the first present, it's the movie "Lady and the Tramp." A flashback of Harry kissing me in the drive-in flashes through my mind. My face becomes hot and red is displayed in my cheeks. The next present I unwrap in a Spongebob stuffed animal. I squeeze him, holding it tight against my chest. I remember when we fell asleep on the couch while watching Spongebob, and the boys took a picture of us. I unwrap the next present, which is a box of hot chocolate. I can't help but giggle, last time we had cocoa, Harry burnt his tongue. I carefully unwrap the next present, because it's protected in bubble wrap. I hold the mini horse figurine in my hands. Happy tears form in my eyes; Harry remembered my favorite animal is a horse, and we shared our first kiss in a horse-drawn carriage. The last present is a beanie with the British flag on it. I grab my phone and dial up my boyfriend. Harry answers, "Lily! Did you get my package?" I reply with joy, "I got it. I love the gifts, it does make me feel like you're here. I just wanted to call to say thank you, Merry Christmas, and I love you." Before Harry hangs up, he says, "You're very welcome. And I love you."
