Sideswipe heads to the Slums and went to an apartment building. Troy and Kitsune get out of Sideswipe. "I still feel bad we left Ursula." Troy enter his apartment and got his backup suit and puts it's on. "Look I honestly don't care, Callistis should've came with us instead of Wolf-Stride." Bounty stated.

Kitsune got pissed. "Goddanmit Troy, now look I don't what your problems are but don't say shit against Ursula." Bounty wasn't mad at him. "Nolan, you're right, I go too far, but you are a good friend, and if I was to have a brother I would hope he would be like you." Bounty stated. Kitsune smiled. "Alright, let's find out who is killing masked heroes." Kitsune told him. "Now I normally get information from Beastly Bar, let's head there." Bounty told him. They get in Sideswipe and head to Beastly Bar.

They arrived and enter. "Pinga, I have a question." Bounty called out. Kitsune looks around. "This is just simple hero work don't worry it." He told the tenders. Bounty saw Pinga. "Bounty just leave me alone." Pinga told him. "Pinga, I want to know who tried to killed Cliff." Bounty said. Pinga looks at him. "Look Bounty I'm not in the mood." Bounty broke the glass in Pinga's hand and forced him to hold it. "Alright, alright, he was hired to kill him by someone at Cliff's office building." Pinga told him. Bounty let's go of his fist.

He looks at Kitsune. "Well then let's head to Cliff's office." Bounty said. They leave the bar and went to Boris' Office Building.

When they arrived they head to the top floor. They enter Boris's office Kitsune moved his goggles up to reveal his eyes. "Never was a big fan of that." Bounty stated. Kitsune looks at him. "What the fact I don't have a mask it's just a hood with goggles?" Kitsune asked. "Yeah not a fan." Kitsune thought about it. "I did have one when I went to Paris with Ursula but I didn't use it that often ." Kitsune told him.

Kitsune turns on Boris' Computer and he had to enter a password. He looks around and sees three books, Under The Hood by Mason Dodge, Rendez, and Phantom of the Opera. Kitsune types in Rendez II and he was in. "I'm in, and it looks like Boris was looking at Nirvasyl." Bounty looks at the computer. "What's Nirvasyl?" He asked. "It's a hell of drug, it was designed to calm people down but a it accidentally made to give you mood swings, The Magical War happened because a Magical working with technology accidentally got a hold of the drug and attacked a Magical that wasn't using technology." Kitsune told him. "So we should confront Cliff about this." Bounty stated. "Yeah let's." They head to Sideswipe while Bounty writes.

Bounty's Logs: 2038/11/01, Monday: Final entry? Left Cliff's office just before Midnight. Foxy, convinced Cliff's behind everything, is serious about visiting his base. Sideswipe capable, apparently, but are we? Cliff. Cannot imagine more dangerous opponent. Assuming journey possible, tracking him to his lair only option. Still feel uneasy. Unfamiliar territory. He could kill us both, there in the snow. Nobody would ever know, first night in November. I am cold tonight. Offices below, headstones marking daily graves of thousands. Inside, clock faces, as observed as those of celebrities, hands commence final laps. Oblivion gallops closer, favoring the spur, sparing the reinforcements, I think we will be gone soon. Cliff is faster than Foxy. Perhaps faster than me. Return seems unlikely. This last entry. Will shortly mail to only people can trust. Tell McCarthy I need to check my maildrop. He believes me. If reading this now, whether I am alive or dead, you will know truth. Whatever the precise nature of this conspiracy, Boris Cliff responsible. Have done best to make this legible. Believe it paints a disturbing picture. Appreciate your recent support and hope world survives long enough for this to reach you. But tanks are in East Berlin and writing is on wall. Meanwhile. At Beastmen Co-op Michiru is writing a note of the mail she got. Nazuna and Ayame went to her. "Michiru, Marie just texted me." Nazuna told her. "Really?" She asked. "Yeah she wanted to wish us a happy Halloween even if it's late." Nazuna told her. Michiru smiled. "Well let's hope she comes back safe." She told them. Michiru turns on the radio. Meanwhile. Sideswipe is on a bridge heading to Boris' Fortress. They soon hit some snow. Welcome to your life, There's no turning back, "I didn't think Cliff's base was this far from Magica-Anima City." Bounty told him. Even while we sleep, We will find you, Kitsune looks at Bounty then back on the road. Acting on your best behaviour, Turn your back on Mother Nature, Everybody wants to rule the world, "Yeah well I'm more concerned about the snow." Kitsune told him. It's my own design, It's my own remorse, Kitsune sighs. "Help me to decide, Help me make the, Most of freedom and of pleasure, Nothing ever lasts forever." Kitsune sings. Everybody wants to rule the w..... The radio died and the engine starts to stall. "Nolan the engine just stopped." Bounty told him. Kitsune pulled the emergency break.

Sideswipe stops. Kitsune gots out and checks the engine. "Okay, then let's try this." Kitsune said. He tried to turn Sideswipe back on, and the radio turned on. (Intro to In The Room Where You Sleep by Dead Man's Bones) I saw something sitting on your bed, "That's something right?" Bounty asked. I saw something touching your head, Kitsune checked the engine. And in the room where you sleep, "Yeah, everything is working fine, it just froze over." Kitsune told him. In the room where you sleep, Kitsune turned on the heater. Where you sleep, "And just like that Sideswipe will live to see another day." Kitsune told Bounty. He turned off the radio. He grabbed a winter lab coat and a face mask for his hood. "You need more clothes?" Kitsune asked. "No fine like this." Bounty told him. The head to Boris' fortress on foot.

Author's Note: Hey Editor Chance here, so this pretty what I thought it would like but I removed the part where Nolan learns of Mason's death and Nirvasyl being a drug is something I've been thinking of for a while and figure why not try it now, the Paris Trip with Ursula foreshadows a prequel I'm working on, anyway hope y'all are enjoying so far.
