(Back tracking about five minutes from the end of last chap-Foxy's POV)

This was driving me crazy! As much as I wanted to know what the others were doing to make that racket and figure out who that strange female voice belonged to, I didn't want to leave my cove. I went under my oath of silence and solitude for a reason...

What a charmed life I lead, no?

Sighing, I just decided to ignore the disturbance, and was thinking of going into sleep mode...

...Until I heard another of the animatronics approaching.

It could only be Bonnie. Everyone else never bothered me again after the last time they tried to 'help' me. Bonnie however was persistant...

Much to my annoyance...

I growled to ward him off, which never worked regardless, but I still felt the need to warn him of my foul mood.

"Foxy, I know you don't like to be disturbed, but I believe there's someone here you might want to see..."

'Who on earth would that be?' I wondered.

The curtains on my stage parted, revealing a young woman, the light behind her haloing her long, dark brown hair. She wore a black skirt over a pair of jeans that stopped above her knees and a white shirt covered by a black jacket. Her green eyes were stunning... Like the finest of emeralds... Ones so very, very familiar...

I couldn't help myself from speaking... I had to know if it was her...

"Morgan? Is that ye, lass?"

She smiled at my voice, which even though was full of static sounded surprisingly like it always had...

"That it is, Cap'n Foxy..."

Her voice... It had changed a lot over the years... No longer the shy squeak, but a confident whisper.

Her smile was always pretty as a child, but now that she was older, it was radiant...

Just like I thought it would be...

I even felt my gears whir rapidly and a strange feeling spread through me...

It was more than just happiness, that I was sure of...

"Cap'n? Is it alright if you step into the light? All I see of you now is your eyes... I want to see you. I... Missed you..."

I chuckled.

"Aye l-l-l-lass. I'm sure I can manage that..."

I stepped forward, fully in the light.

Her eyes widened at the sight of me as her hands covered her mouth in shock...

That worried me...

Was she afraid of me? Did the sight of me bring back memories of the Bite?

Tears fell down her cheeks, but instead of cowering, she charged towards me and...

Hugged me...?

"How could they do this to you?! Your fur is ripped! And your machinery is all twisted and rusty!"

Is that all? She was upset because of some rust and twisted parts? True, I was in a serious state of disrepair, but for her to cry?

She really must care about me...

I wrapped my arms around her gently, not caring if Bonnie was grinning like an idiot...

"It's n-n-naught but some minor damage lass... Please don't c-c-cr-cry for my sake..."

"How can I not?! You, my first and best friend, are in this state because of me! And don't lie and say it's some 'minor' damage! You can barely shut your jaw anymore!"

I couldn't help but feel happy that she still thought me her best friend... But to go so far as to blame herself for all of this?

"You always have had yer heart in the right place Morgan... I missed ye terribly... I thought ye might not ever come back... But you can't honestly blame yourself for all of this, can you?"

She stepped back and turned away...

She sighed, then spoke again.

"Let's just forget about that for now, okay? I... I can't visit for long. I just wanted to see if you were still alright after 12 years..."

Wait... That's right... We only had so long until opening hours...

Bonnie then spoke, "Actually, there's a storm front rolling in. It's supposed to last a day or two... I heard it on the radio in the guard's office earlier..."

I would have smiled if not for my broken jaw.

"Aye. That certainly changes things... I cannot allow my first mate to wander in a rainstorm. A cold would be the least of yer worries if ye did."

"...If you put it like that, then... I don't see why I can't stay a bit longer..."

She yawned.

"Oh dear! My apologies. I must be more tired than I thought..."

"Bonnie? Is there not a sleeping mat in the manager's office?" I said, addressing him for the first time in what seemed like forever.

"I believe there is, Foxy! I'll go grab it and bring it here."

He then walked off to do as he said.

Bonnie came back with the mat quickly and put it in a corner back stage.

She hugged Bonnie and told him good night then asked him to tell Chica and Freddy the situation and to tell them she said good night. He agreed and told her to see them in the morning whenever she woke up. She nodded her agreement.

"Well, see you tomorrow Bonnie." She said as he left.

Turning back to me she said, "Goodnight Cap'n Foxy. I hope you'll come visit the others with me in the morning..."

I sat in my corner again as she laid on the mat, using her arms as a pillow.

"I'll think about it..."

"Alright..." She murmured again.

It was dark in my cove again. And silent. I was happy this time though. With Morgan here again, my home didn't seem so much of a prison anymore...

I heard her sigh, then shift.

"This mat is stiff as a board..."

I heard her stand and walk over to me and sit down.

"Cap'n? Mind if I use your shoulder?"

I really wish I could of smiled as I said, "Of course, lass."

"Thanks!"

She scooted beside me and laid her head against me.

"G'night lass..."

"Night Foxy..."

LJfangrl: I'm leaving it there for now, but hey, at least I updated... And as you'll realize I changed Morgan's last name from Freeman. Because apparently I never noticed there was a famous actor with that name... He even played in the newer Batman movies!! How can I not notice these things?! Ugh! Well, her new last name is Hennesy.

Ttfn for now my lovely kits!
