The trip was supposed to be short but of course, it took us longer than expected due to ship malfunctions. As the only competent one on the ship, I had to fix the broken systems. This was going to be a nightmare. No good food, bad beds, and no amenities for 5 months?! This was the worst decision of my life.
But, allow me to introduce myself I'm Christen Williams, I'm 23 years old, and I'm on a ship that's going to a remote mining planet to spend 5 months guarding the damn place. Luckily I'm a great shot and have balls of steel (well more like a stomach of steel I guess). Anyway, the point is that this trip is gonna suck. The only reason I signed up is because, I'm poor and the job was pretty well paying.
Well, I've gotta head to bed as, we've got another 2 and a half weeks until we arrive on the planet.
