Everything went overwhelming. Time passes. The place is growing. You were pondering while watching the view on the outside of the cab you're taking. The ordinary houses, trees that still living, few people enjoyed themselves while walking. While you, sitting there for like 10 minutes as it is a long time for you because of the presence you felt.

It's very peaceful and different.

You felt freedom where you can't force yourself to be someone like the others. It made you wonder, knowing you didn't have friends in your past places before you leave it. Maybe your life there became memorable in some ways before you left but you already know to yourself you're incapable to make friends.

You lack communication with people. You insisted on yourself staying in your room, studying, and making things stable just like you plan. Now, it's all new again for you. Moving to your hometown because your grandfather said so before he died. Disobeying is not the manner you learned from him but understanding everything even it's complicated. You just trusted him, believing it was a good decision.

You're the only one who will attend, mourn at his funeral because you're the only person he got. Your relatives didn't seem to hear about it or they just ignore it. Just you, the one he took care of after you were born left alone with nothing. Just your great grandfather supporting your needs and your studies that you owed him so much that all you do for now to repay him is to visit him and cherish the last day you will see your grandfather's state.

That's all you can do for now. Stay.

As long you watched the place you passes, the cab stop. You didn't realize you're already there at the hotel. You sighed before handing your payment to the driver. You lifted your two bags before you get out of the cab. Just two big bags that full of clothes and essential things.  Your eyes took a glimpse of all your surroundings before you opened the door to take a room. There are many stores you can buy everything you need. Your eyes are confused about where you should go. However, you stop looking around and take a room for yourself.

Minutes later, you had the key to your room.
A sudden uneasy presence comes on you before you reach the room you took. It must be headache or hunger you felt. You scoffed for making yourself worried for nothing before you unlocked the door.

The smell of the room and the view of the outside that you can saw on the window gave you a pleasant time to take a glance at it. It was wonderful that you sniff in relief, smelling the scent of harmony and vanilla. You instantly locked the door before you can place your bag on the side of your bed so you can take a shower and rest.

Afterward, you checked your phone while sitting on the bed. Mesmerizing the saved pictures of your grandfather and you when you're just a kid. Bringing you in the old times. A nostalgia that gave you grief and joy at the same time. You remembered your grandfather's dislike of seeing his granddaughter crying when she's in grief and loss, which now made it forcing you to chuckled before you looked on the window.

Sighed and smile before you told the wind the word you missed.
