It wasn't a pleasant day right from the start. The alarm going off making wooyoung curse his yesterday self for setting an alarm in the first place. Today was the day, mornings never felt nice to him, what's so great about fresh air as it hasn't been mixed with the day's chaos and what's so great about birds they are assholes come and go as they please knocking on windows. The light beams playing with the colors of his walls, he can't see much yet as his eyes hasn't adjusted to the world still.

Today was the day he comes clean to his best friend, well not totally clean as he was afraid the truth will cage him under the mercy of others even if they meant well.

You know heroes always need a villain, otherwise what are they heroes for. And no matter how much you hate your villain, they'll always be the ones who challenge you for a change. The irony here is that the villain is the hero of Wooyoung's story, he is the villain here not he actually cares at this point.

It was 10 am now, he had to get up and get ready to meet Seonghwa for the big plan. The thing is he was close with all three of his best friends, he met Seonghwa in highschool and then he followed him to the same university. As for Yeosang he has been his best friend since childhood, and if he has to rank them he is the least close with Jongho as although they are close but still they met recently in university and don't know much about each other when it comes to personal life.

Wooyoung got up after a struggle with his covers, challenging them not to get up as if the poor material had a say in anything. As he entered the bathroom looking in the mirror not liking much what he is seeing, his black strands tickling his forehead reaching his eyes as if they are trying to get it. He was praying dark circles are a trend now because no power on this earth can make him cover the ones drawn under his eyes.

He washed his face splashing cold water to maybe awake the soul hiding in him. After a quick shower, brushing his teeth and getting dressed it was already 11:30 am. Did he just stare to long in the mirror , why is time weird like when did an hour and a half pass?! Luckily he lived in the dorms on campus so he didn't need much time to reach his friend.

As he was looking for the last time in the mirror praying his friend won't notice the exhaustion in his features, he heard his phone notifying him for a new message.

Seonghwa
Soo meet you in 30 minutes?

Wooyoung
Yes yes i'm on my way, usual place

Seonghwa
Sure!
Seen: 11:40 am

The thing about Seonghwa is that he always made sure to reply, no matter what the conversation was or if an answer is needed or not, he made sure he always was the last to send a message to make sure everyone is okay. This trait in him always made Wooyoung wonder if Seonghwa himself ever noticed it, or if he do it on purpose. It was something Wooyoung was thankful yet envious of, as how do you have this much will to care!

He left his room trying so hard not to look anyone in the halls in the eyes so he doesn't have to make some unnecessary fake small talk acting like he care, and watching the others mirror that. He arrived not long after to the nearby coffeeshop they are used to meet at. It was a small business of a sweet family the boys took a liking too, so the coffeeshop became their usual spot to hang.

He entered greeted by a short woman that had very sweet features, "oh hey are you alone today?" She said with a motherly smile.

"No, Seonghwa will arrive soon hopefull."

"Want me to bring you something, or wait for your friend?"

"I'll wait thank you!" He smiled and moved to sit on a table he now unconsciously walks toward as it is their usual seat.

Not long after 12 Seonghwa arrived on his own scanning the place to see if Wooyoung has arrived yet, and he made a little wave when he spotted his friend. Wooyoung watched him talk with the woman as well figuring she was offering the same and asking how he is.

"Hey man!" Seonghwa said through a smile as he half hugged Wooyoung who was standing in an awkward position half standing, half sitting to greet his friend back.

"Hey Hwa, how was class."

"Okay actually, the material kinda fun." Said the straight A student watching Wooyoung give him an eye-roll.

"So are the rest joining us?"
Wooyoung shock his head to the sides signaling a no.

"Of wanna drink something then?"

Wooyoung without answering raised his hand as the woman saw it and started walking toward them.

"Wooyoung everything okay? Why aren't you answering me today?" A worried look was drawn all over Seonghwa's face since the younger was always known for being loud and smily. He figured the thing Wooyoung was planning to tell him was serious, but never imagined it to be that serious that his friend looks almost scared to talk about it.

The woman arrived and both boys ordered coffee for no particular reason.
And as Seonghwa was sipping his coffee, Wooyoung out of nowhere said "umm.. so i think i have a plan..."

"Okay carry on" the older signaled placing his coffee on the table so he can listen more seriously to his now scared friend.

"You know how although i try my best not to show it, but I'm always depressed?"

The boy in front of him nodded in approval as both him and Yeosang has always known about Wooyoung history with episodes of mental health problems.

"I decided to make a small thing to motivate me to do things I always wanted to do but never got into."

"Yes that's great!" Wooyoung can almost swear that Seonghwa's face was almost glowing from happiness, the guilt started building up inside him as he saw what a great human was sitting in front of him.

"So what's the plan?" Seonghwa said getting Wooyoung out of his thoughts and back to reality.

"A bucket list..."

"Oh ... i mean a cliché, but look if you think it works i'm happy to help."

Wooyoung smiled a little, not knowing what the actual expression would have been on his friend's face if he knew the real whole story of this bucket list.

"Wooyoung..." Seonghwa said surprising the other as why the sudden change in tone.

"Yes Hwa?"

"Are you sure that's the only thing?"

"Yeah why?" Wooyoung answered confused as to what did his friend sensed for him to know that something is actually wrong. Was he that transparent or is his friend that good.

"I don't know you seemed more worked up when i saw you so I thought it was something bad, but i'm glad it is nothing worrying." The older smiled placing a hand slightly shaking his friend. "Okay so what is our first goal?"
