A/N- very short chapter this one

I go downstair and sit on one of the island chairs. Trent walks into the kitchen and starts to remove things from the fridge. "What are you doing? are you going to make food? you sure you don't want me to do that?" I ask. "What do you think I'm doing, I'm making you waffles. and no it's cool I got it covered. my mom and I used to do this all the time" he replies. I smile, I can't wait, I haven't eaten waffles in so long. Then he puts this hot steaming plate off waffles top with syrup and melted marshmallows, with Nutella on the side. I cry a little. He smirks and sits down to his own plate. I cut up a nice big piece with everything on it and shove it into my waiting mouth. I melt..."this is sooo good!" I suddenly yell. Trent jumps a little and I quietly apologize. "note to self, do not give her anymore sugar" he says quietly to himself.

After, we move to the living room and play video games for what seems like hours. I never have the chance to just have a good lazy morning eating and playing games. I've been on this hustle flow so much, I barely get a chance to relax. After I win 9 out of 10 games, the sore loser is ready to give up. "Why, are you mad cause you can't beat me?" I ask giggling. He laughs "no, I'm just tired...that's all". I laugh even louder, "That's a sad excuse". "Oh shut up, you're really good at it, I can see why Evan never play with you. He would've lost...badly...he can barely beat me" he says casually.

We stare at each other, and then we crack up laughing. I'm laughing so hard that orange juice from earlier spray out my nose, which makes him laugh even harder. Watching his facial expressions makes me die. It is to the point where we are on the floor rolling around, holding on to our sides and stomach. When we finally stop, and I can breathe normally again we continue playing.

"I can see why you men spend hours, days even playing video games" I say after the game ends. he chuckles and leans back into the couch. "well...yea yea, you not wrong. I personally don't play video games as much as jimmy and Evan do but it's a great way to relax". I nod and pick up my phone. Evan still haven't texted me back or anything. I slowly frown, I really hope everything is okay with his grandparents. I can't even do anything cause I don't remember where his grandparents live in L.A. I know his parents moved to Florida a few years back but that's about all I know. I zone out lost in my head that I don't even hear Trenton calling me. "hmm?" I jumpily reply. "you okay? you got all depressed for a second" he asks. "yea, I'm fine. just hoping that Evan is okay" I say. He nods and looks at his phone, "yea, me too. he hasn't respond to my messages"he adds. we both sigh and shrug,  I get up to go take a shower.
