I stood in Levi's room, anxiously awaiting for him to return from a summons he had earlier regarding the Liberio assault. My hands idly held my stomach at the possibility of what's growing. The fruit of our love.
The door opened with a small gust of wind that pushed my hair forward, sending my heart into a race.
"Emily?" Levi asked, closing the door behind him. "What is it?" Concerned dripped in his voice.
Slowly turning to face him, I could see his eyes trail down to my hands, still resting on my flat stomach. His eyes widened and shot back up to meet mine, lips ajar. I swallowed hard, turning to fully face him.
"Are you sure?" He asked quietly, taking a couple steps towards where I stood.
"Nothing is for certain..." I trailed off. His gentle hands landed on my stomach, staring down at them with an awe struck expression. His eyes were full of fear but full of love... something I hadn't seen in him before.
"Levi?"
"You're... pregnant?" He breathed out through the smallest of smiles. Bringing a hand to caress his neck, my thumb traced his jaw. His eyes flickered up to mine, allowing his hand to caress my cheek before leaning in, giving me a tender kiss.
"I love you..." he whispered.

The makeshift wagon rattled against the ground as we made the trek along the riverbed. Hange sat on the horse, driving the wagon that I sat on with Levi. Levi had fallen asleep on my lap, refusing to let me stray away. My fingers gently brushed through his hair as he slept; something he told me he enjoyed.
Dawn was beginning to break in the sky. The softest hue of pink started to peak over the horizon. Thankful they dried in time, I wrapped Levi's cloak around myself tighter, gently clutching the cravat around my neck. Shortly after Levi fell asleep, I washed the fabrics in the river. Normally, a cravat would not be in my wardrobe... but I know how much this piece of fabric means to Levi.
He let out a small groan in his sleep, nuzzling my thigh a little more as he adjusted the position of his head. A small smile crept onto my face as I watched him. It was a rare sight to see Levi sleep. He had always fallen asleep after me and was awake before I was.
A thick cloud of steam in the far distance caught my eye. Faint rumbling on the ground paired with the wagon's movements could be felt. Instantly, I felt the pit in my stomach deepen.
The rumbling has started... Eren and Zeke have made contact.
It has been a handful of hours since I heard Eren speak.
"So the Rumbling is real..." I mused.
"There's something up ahead," Hange called out.
Twisting my body to face the front of us, I could see the objects in question. Behind it, walked many Colossal-sized Titans. Steam radiated off their bodies, ascending slowly into the sky; marking their trail. My breath caught in my throat at the sight.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Appears we're about to have some company," Hange replied.
"Are they Jaegerists?"
"No, I don't think so?"
As we approached the strangers, my eyes widened. The familiar Titan form sat on all fours, peering out the opposite direction of us towards the Colossal Titans. Hange pulled the cart to a stop, promptly hopping off her horse; walking away from us.
