I'm going to write this less like a story...more like advice?

When I was the assassin, I purposely wrote in my journal: Murderer is <and then add tags>

You would want to pick a number of tags that a lot of names have, for example, if there are three people with a name that has three letters, then it's a good idea to write: Murderer is ###

But, make sure that the murderer doesn't have the same number of tags.

This will hopefully trip them up a lot.

For example, I had played a game where "a normal guy" was the murderer.

I went in and saw four people who had three letters, and so I wrote: "Murderer is ###"

My luck that round was pretty bad, and I was voted out first. But, my journal had confused them. Everyone started framing the four people with three letters in their names.  The plan went very well, all four of the framed people had died, leaving a little number of people still alive...that is until the spy ratted murderer out.

I might do more advice like this in the future.
