Chapter 7: Shiratorizawa

*The Next Morning*

You woke up to the sound of your alarm screaming at you, it sucked having your four year old brother scream in your face almost every morning to get you to wake up. All it took was a pillow to his face to get him to shut up.

"You're late (Y/n)!" You opened your eyes to stare at your clock and you practically jumped out of bed seeing you only had 15 minutes to get ready and run to school.

Once ready, you grabbed your phone and bag, sprinting to your kitchen, you grabbed a banana and kissed your mom, dad and Hachi on the cheek before running out.

As you speed walked to school, you noticed you had three missed calls from Machi and 11 messages from her.

What the fuck?

You opened the messages and you paused in your tracks.

Machi: *Photo of you and Oikawa next to each other talking to Iwaizumi*

Machi: *Photo of you and Oikawa walking away together*

Machi: GIRL!

Machi: GIRRRRLLLL!

Machi: BITCHHH Are you and Oikawa a thing now?!?!?!?!?!

Machi: ANSWER YOUR PHONE!

Machi: Answer meeeee when you wake up!

Machi: Are you coming to school or not?

Machi: HELLOOOOO

Machi: hmmm u know who else is apparently late to school?! *smirking emoji*

Machi: Wait, are you dead?

You looked at the pictures again, and you grew stressed about them. You didn't want people thinking that you were going for him.

The second you entered the school, you could feel all the cold stares on you from almost every female you walked by. You went to your locker and you opened it awkwardly, feeling uncomfortable at the amount of people staring at you.

When you grabbed your stuff, and shoved it in your bag. You got scared by Machi's sudden appearance from next to you. "Why didn't you answer your phone?" She frowned, in a joking way to you.

"Sorry, I literally woke up like fifteen minutes ago." You said, and you turned to walk towards class. Machi following after you.

"Well, um- are you-"

"No." You cut her off. "Oikawa and I are not a thing, we were just walking in the same direction, and since I- I guess we're kind of friends we decided to walk together and talk, AS FRIENDS." You emphasized and she nodded.

"Oh, sorry for assuming, just you guys both looked so happy in the pictures." She said as you both took your seats.

"Where did you get those anyways?" You asked her, wondering how many people had this picture.

"One of the Tokunaga twins took it. You know one of the biggest gossip girls of the school." She said and you rolled your eyes. "But, do you like him?" She asked, and you just stared at her blankly, and then you shook your head.

"No I- No." You shook your head even more now.

Machi narrowed her eyes on you and gave you a slight smirk, indicating that she didn't believe you.

At lunch, you and Machi both agreed to stay in. She wanted to work on some homework and you told her you didn't want to go out to avoid "Scandals". You headed out to your locker to grab your lunch. When you closed it, you jumped at Kai's sudden appearance from next to you.
