A Setters Love (Oikawa x Reader)

Chapter 2: The Weekend

It was already Friday, and you were so grateful for the weekend to be here. School was already so rough and practices after classes almost everyday didn't feel great on your body.

You only bumped into Oikawa a couple of times after practice, but you never put the effort into talking to him, like all the other girls, and never once have you joined them in catching a snack after practice either.

After the coach blew his whistle you were all free to leave, but only after he stated there would be a practice match on tuesday next week. You all nodded, indicating that you heard him.

"(Y/n)." You paused before heading to the changerooms. "You're starting." He stated and your eyes found Natsumi who was already making her way to the changeroom, head hanging low.

"Okay..." You said, trying not to feel guilty about it.

You all made your way to the changerooms, and even before you all made it in, Natsumi was already rushing out, her hood covering her eyes. All the girls stared at her before making their way into the changeroom.

As you guys got dressed, Machi came right to you in just her bra and underwear. "Hey, you okay?" She asked, leaning forward.

"Yeah, I just kind of feel bad, you know?" You stripped from your shirt.

"Don't be." Oka came up from behind, standing tall and putting her deodorant on. "If it wasn't you we probably would have taken a first year to replace her..." She stated, grabbing her shirt now. "Anyways, my boyfriend is having a houseparty tomorrow, do you want to come?" She asked.

"Please do, we're all going!" Machi exclaimed, putting her pants on now. "Hey, Kai!" She looked over in the captain's direction. "You going to try to hookup with Oikawa again?" She teased and you all jumped at Kai slamming the locker door shut. 

"I'll see you guys at the party." She said, but didn't say anything else as she made her way out.

Suki came up from behind Machi and smacked her in the back of the head. "Why would you say that, idiot!" She frowned.

"Oh, what?" Machi now looked confused and Suki just rolled her eyes. "What the fuck is her deal?" She asked you and you just shrugged. "Well I'm hungry, let's go grab a snack at the convenience store." She tugged on you.

When you guys walked out, you both began to laugh about her falling while trying to do a cool trick when receiving a ball. "What would I even call this move?" She asked.

"Weird ball roll." You said and you both laughed.

"Hey!" You both turned to Oka, who was under her boyfriend's shoulder along with Iwaizumi, Kindaichi and Oikawa, who was talking to a girl who had her back pressed against the lockers. "You guys are coming tomorrow right?" She asked and all the boys now looked over at you two.

"Yup! I'll be there!" Machi waved. And they all now looked at you.

"Oh, uh- I don't know I have family coming over for the weekend." You said and Machi frowned at you.

"No! You're coming, you can step out for a little bit." She tugged on you. "We'll both be there!" She added, waving to them all and they all smiled waving back.

As you stepped out, you frowned at Machi. "I can't go." You stated, and she rolled her eyes.

"And why not?"

"Because I have family-"

"I'm sure your family will be more than happy to let you go out for the night, especially since you're new, I'm sure they'd love to see you already making friends." She smiled.
