As the helicopter flew into the night there was a small silence between the two groups. Some of the solders are still in amazement at the best friend squad especially Glimmer and She Ra. Well the best friend squad was taking in the new warfare they just experienced. That is until She Ra broke the silence bye asking a question
"So Captain Price how do you know me?" she asked curiously
Captain Price took in a deep breath "years ago I was on a mission one of the run of the milll ops. Everything was going fine until the get away, I got shot as I was jumping for the helicopter"
Captain Price gesture around him to let the best friend squad know what they were in. as he did this the rest of 414 listened intently wanting to hear more about there captains past
"So I landed, " Captain Price continued, "on the ground from the building we were on and I had to make a run for the forest. As I was stumbling through the forest running from the enemy I saw a flash of light and someone scared my pursuers away. They then carried me to the house of a madame razz where I was cared for. That's where I met the previous She Ra, Mara."
The best friend squad gasped at this. She Ra Mara died thousands of years ago, how could captain price have met her and them.
She Ra then transformed back into Adora, shocking the task force
"Bloody hell" SAS exclaimed.
"Well I'll be, thats quite an advantage" Soap said
Captain Price had some sort of smile on his face, he had not seen that in a long time
"What happened after that?" Adora asked
Captain Price answered. "After that I got to know Mara better and learn about the world she was in. Once I gained her trust she asked me for help fighting her superiors to save the planet. In the end Mara sacrificed herself and the planet was saved, and as you can see I got to go back to my world."
"why didn't you tell anyone sir?" SAS questioned.
"They would have called him crazy and he would have been discharged or locked up" Ghost reasoned.
"How did you arrive in our would?" Bow asked, wanting to understand the anomaly
Captain Price slowly shook his head. "I don't know, but what I do know is that something happed at some point that combined our world's. This event caused many portals to open up connecting our two worlds, maybe more."
Everyone was shocked by this. Glimmer and bow were exited at the idea of new world and She Ra was in deep thought.
"Captain, something is bothering me. I have had a dream where I met you and you say that you knew we would meet, how is this?" Adora ask
"Madam Razz. she kept getting you and Mara confused and Mara eventually put together that there would be another one, you." Captain Price answered
The captain let Adora take this in
Captain Price continued "however no mater who she was talking to I was alway there. Which told us I would see She Ra again just not when, but now I know that that day is today"
Well Adora was in thought Glimmer decided to ask question
"Excuse me.... Captain Price, was it?"
"Yes it is" he confirmed
"You said earlier that there are portals between our world and your's. Does that mean we can go home?" she asked hopefully
Captain Price then gave a warm comforting smile
"Yes you can, all we have to do is wait for the right conditions" Captain price explained
"What conditions would those be?" Glimmer asked wanting to know how to go home
"We need to wait for a storm, like this one, that happens during a full moon. Then we pick a spot and then your back in Kansas" he finished explaining
The best friend squad looked at Captain Price weirdly while the rest of 414 let out some laughs
"Whats Kan-sas?" Bow asked confused
"It's a state from the United States" Captain Price explained
"Why would we want to go there?" Glimmer asked confused as to why a place farther away was suggested
Soap was full on laughing while SAS was trying not to, and the rest of the 414 was split between the two reactions
Captain price gave a light chuckle
Captain Price proceeded to explain the plot-line to the Wizard of Oz "It's a reference to story called 'The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz'. It's a story about a girl named Dorothy who gets transported to OZ. She is from Kansas and she want to get back there. Eventual, after making friends and killing the Wicked Witch of the West she goes home. So this is Oz and Kansas is your home where you want to go back to"
The trio was confused by this but slowly putting it together
Soap stoped his laughter to ask the captain something
"Sir I didn't know you read the 'Wizard of Oz'" Soap asked surprised
Captain Price gave the abridged version of the story "I got the book from an American on a joint Op"
The captain then turned to the trio
"Different than the one I was talking about earlier" Captain price explained to make sure there is no confusion between the two Ops
The group nodded in understanding. Captain price was about to continue when the pilot came on the speakers over-head
"Landing ETA, 2 minutes"
"I Know you have lots of questions, and I promise I will answer them later, but for now we have to make sure you're safe." Captain Price reassured
The trio nodded to let him know that they understood
"However we will also need to figure out details about our current mission and make sure that it is completed" The Captain continued
With that the helicopter flew into a clearing sky as the sun awoken from it's slumber. Off to the base of the best friend squad's new acquaintances', and new word.
