As the helicopter slowly lands both teams are filled with a mixture of emotions, well the best friend squad has a sense of fear. They are uncertain of what their fate may be in this new world. The helicopter finally lands and the door slowly opened, all of Bravo Six stood up and faced the door. The Best Friend Squad was unsure of what to do so they just followed what the task force did. Captain Price went up to the Best Friend Squad.

"Just as a warning the world is fairly different, and the technology is also different. So when you exit the helicopter you may feel disoriented. Feel free to take a moment." The captain explained.

The Best Friend Squad nods in understanding. The ramp on the helicopter finally reaches the ground and both squads exit the helicopter. As they do, the Best Friend Squad slowly crawled to a stop as they heard a rumble and saw a strange tank going by them and the soldiers marching behind it. They saw even more helicopters flying above them and strange trucks going by. They also made a strange noise that they never heard before.

"Wow, it's like their technology is so different yet so similar." Stated Bow.

"Look how their soldiers dress, now that I think about it they aren't wearing any armour," added Glimmer.

"Why don't they wear any armour, doesn't that expose them?" asked Adora.

Captain Price then walks up to them.

"In a way, yes, but the armour you are thinking of hasn't been used for hundreds of years." Captian Price responded.

"But why?" asked Adora

"Because Modern Warfare is much faster paced, the weapons we use can also penetrate knights' armour with ease."  Captain Price explained.

"What about the vehicles?" asked Bow.

"We can answer questions like that later, but for now we have something important to attend to," the captain said as he motioned for the group to follow him.

The group did just that, amazed at the base setting and all the technology. They got some strange looks from other soldiers but the best friend squad understood as they have been giving similar looks to the people here. Soon the group arrived at the base where Captain Price would give his report and the Best Friend Squad waited outside.

Base Commander started right away. "Despite losing the main weapon I am pleased with this information that you got" He stated, looking through the files and the pictures that came with it.

"We would have gotten more, but they must have gotten an SOS out before we could take them out." Responded Captain Price.

"It's quite alright Captain. This has enough information," The commander said as he put the file down.

The commander then looked at Captain Price, and Price knew what he was going to ask.

"So who are those people you picked up on the mission, Captain?" He asked concerned.

"They're from another dimension, Commander. They were a big help in getting the files." The Captain explained.

The Commander looked skeptical at Price.

"Even if they helped get the files you really expect me to believe that they came from another world."

"Dont worry sir, I can prove it."  Captain Price went to the door and opened it.

"Adora, Glimmer, Bow could you come in please," the Captain asked.

The group then got up from their seats and entered the room and Price doubled checked the outside and looked at Bravo Six.

"Team watch the door, make sure no one can hear what we are going talk about next." The team then nodded and the Captain closed the door and locked it.

"Sir, this is Adora, Glimmer and Bow." As he said this each member greeted the commander.

"So these are the people from the other world?" The commander asks.

"Yes."  Captain Price said as closed all the blinds.

"Glimmer could you please show the Commander your magic please?" He said after finishing closing the binds and standing by the group. Glimmer then nodded and summoned some magic to make a glowing magic circle.

The Commander's eyes widened.

"I see." The Commander said thinking of what to do next.

"They can stay on the base here till we can figure out what to do with them." The Commander continued.

"Actually I have another idea" Captain Price interjected.

"What is it, Captain?" He asked.

"I would like to request that they join Bravo Six. They have skills and powers that we don't, and something is coming that we will need them for." Price finished explaining.

The Commander thought about this for a good minute.

"I am uncertain about this Captain, so I would like you to train them for a few days. That way we can make a plan." The Commander finished.

Captain Price gave a slight nod.

"Thank you, sir." Captain Price said as he led the Best Friend Squad to the living quarters.

As Captain Price and Bravo Six walked the best friend squad to their new living quarters the group decided to continue asking the questions they had earlier.

"Captian Price why don't soldiers wear armour anymore? Because you mentioned that the armour we're thinking is outdated, but I didn't see them wearing any at all." Asked Adora.

"As I said before, it is because of the way warfare has evolved. It's gotten faster and more complicated. Having full knight armour just doesn't cut it against our new and advanced weaponry. We do still use armour. It's just in a different form, much less visible to the untrained eye." Captian Price explained.

The Best Friend Squad took this and remembered the fight they were just in.

"Those, guns I believe you called them, do seem much more advanced than my bow. I mean the power they had was amazing. I would like to know how they work." Bow stated.

"You will tomorrow as that's when your training starts." Price responds.

Adora then thought of something.

"Captain, how will our powers work in this new combat?" She asked.

"All of your questions about warfare will be answered in the next few days. Any other questions will be answered also, but at a later time." He explained as he got to a door and entered it.

"But for now you need to rest up." He said as he lead them to the back of the room to some bunk beds.

"Pick any of these beds you want and rest up. Breakfast is at 7:45, Soap will lead you there. From there we will start training." As he finished speaking Glimmer looked excited.

"Bunkbeds, sweet! I call the top one!" She says as she teleports to the top bunk.

Bow sighed.

"Glimmer you shouldn't use your magic like that. We don't know when you will run out or if you can recharge" Bow worries.

"I agree with Bow. You should save your magic for a life-or-death situation."

Glimmer looked a little disappointed.

"You're right, sorry. I get a little excited sometimes." She said.

"It is alright Glimmer, it wasn't a big mistake. Just keep that in mind, ok?" He said

"Ok" she responded.

"Now I will leave you to it. Get settled in and rest up. I will see you all in the morning." Captain Price finishes.

"See you Captine Price." Glimmer waves to him sadly.

" Thank you, sir." Said Adora.

" Can't wait." Added Bow.

With that Cpatian Price exited and returned to his quarters to create a training plan for the best friend squad.
