Kurt, Blaine, and Alexa were in the living room, watching tv. Alexa yawned and her dads looked over.

"You should go to sleep." Kurt suggested. She nodded.

"It's Friday but I don't think I can stay up any longer." They smiled at her as she got up.

"Night honey!" Blaine said.

"Goodnight!" She went into her room, laid down, and fell asleep.

Alexa woke up and felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen. She put a hand on her stomach and groaned.

"Holy shit!" She whispered yelled. After taking deep breaths she got up and went to her parents room, walking in. Blaine looked up and at her.

"What's up honey!" Kurt then looked over too.

"I think I'm— OW!" She grabbed onto the door frame and they both jumped up and ran over.

"Okay. We will call the Taylor's. Let's go." She nodded as Blaine helped her down and Kurt grabbed the hospital bag. They all got in the car and rushed to the hospital.

Mr and Mrs Taylor woke up from someone's phone ringing. They groaned and grabbed their phones. It was Mr Taylor's.

"Hello?"

"Hey. It's Kurt. Alexas in labor so we are heading to the hospital."

"Oh! Alright! We are on our way."

"Okay. See you soon." He put his phone down and got up.

"It's Alexa. She's having the baby." She got up too and ran to Jacobs room.

"Jacob, get up!"

"What time is it?" He mumbled.

"Like 2AM but Alexas having the baby so get up." He jumped up and threw his shoes on, grabbing his phone, and running to the car. They sped there too, getting inside and asking about her. The man at the desk showed them to her room. As they walked in, Alexa was laying down, looking uncomfortable.

"Hey!" He said, walking over with a smile on his face.

"Hi." She groaned. He sat next to her and smiled.

"How're you doing?"

"The best I probably could while in labor. The doctors are nice so yeah."

"Good." A doctor walked in soon after and smiled.

"How are we all doing?"

"Good." They said in unison.

"And you Alexa?"

"I'm fine." She smiled but then groaned. "Fuck! Why do people do this?" She scrunched her face and held onto her stomach.

"Just breathe deep, okay?" She walked over and held onto her hand as she took deep breaths. She checked how dilated Alexa was after. "You'll still probably need to wait a bit."

"But I'm so hungry and I'm done with ice chips!"

"I'm sorry!"

"It's fine. I'll just go to sleep. I'm tired."

"Okay." She left the room to check on other patients as Alexa closed her eyes. Alexa woke up a while later and the doctor was coming back in. "We have to check again." She said, sitting down. Alexa rubbed her eyes and adjusted. "Well, look at that."

"What?"

"Looks like you're almost ready. Do you want an epidural?"

"Yes please!"

"Okay." She chuckled and left the room. When they came back they turned the light on.

"Hi Alexa! I'm nurse Lily and I'm going to be giving you your epidural."

"Okay."

"Can you sit up for me?" She nodded and did as she said. "You okay?" Nurse Lily asked.

"Yeah." She relied.

"She just hates shots."

"Oh, okay. One, I promise it doesn't hurt as much as it seems like. Two, it's better than having a baby without one. Three, I have a few tricks to help." She nodded. "I need you to take this pillow and hug it. Okay?"

"Alright." She hugged the pillow and closed her eyes. She quickly gave the shot and then buttoned her gown back up.

"Okay. All done. That wasn't so bad, was it?"

"No, it wasn't."

"Good. We will be back in in about 20-30 minutes."

"Okay." She left and they all talked. They came back in when they said and checked her again.

"Alright Alexa. It's time." She nodded and grabbed Jacobs hand. It was a long time of pushing but the doctor, nurses, and parents all talked her through it. They finally heard the cry when it came out. They wanted the gender to be a surprise so when they wrapped it and put it on her chest, they said, "Here is your baby girl." A tear fell down her cheek and she smiled at her.

"Hi!" They had to take her back for a short time to clean her off. They put her in a swaddle and gave her to Alexa after also getting her cleaned up.

"Do you have a name?" She looked at Jacob and smiled.

"Uhh— yeah, it's Charlotte."

"Aww!" They all said.

"What would it have been if it was a boy?"

"Elijah." They nodded. Jacob walked over and looked at Charlotte. "Want to hold her?"

"Uhh— I've never held a baby."

"Come on. You will be holding her a lot so better get used to it."

"Umm— alright." She carefully passed her to him and his mom showed him how to hold her.

"Make sure to support her head."

"Okay." He looked at her face and smiled. "She's so tiny. Look at her chubby little cheeks."

"I know. She's adorable." Everyone took turns holding her and they stayed there for a little while before being cleared to go home. Alexa had to do school from home so she zoomed into class.

"Hey Alexa! How are you doing?" Her teacher asked as she joined.

"Good! Thanks!"

"You're welcome!" She started teaching and Alexa listened. After school Leo brought her papers. Blaine opened the door and smiled.

"Hey Leo!"

"Hey! I have Alexas work."

"Come on in!"

"Really?"

"Yeah, why?"

"No reason." He took a step in and went to the living room. He never saw Charlotte so when he saw her with Alexa he froze.

"Oh my god!"

"You okay?" Alexa asked.

"YEAH!" He smiled and set her things down on the coffee table.

"You want to hold her?"

"Sure. I have a baby cousin but she's not little anymore. I mean I hold her but she's not a newborn anymore." She smiled as Leo picked her up. They talked for a little bit before he had to go home. Carson saw her later and even Carole and Burt came. She had to heal and take care of Charlotte so just finished school online. There was only about 2 weeks left, one including exams which she could take online.
