Chapter Five~ Snow

Recap: there just escaped the cafe now they lay under a house so they can live what will happen to Jane, Grace, Cailssa, Alex and Will

Jane's pov
White specks fall to the ground , it's snow the icy wind hits us Grace shivers from the cold, she's wearing a dress with boots along with her white beanie "Jane it's cold" she tells me.
I take my jacket off "put this on" I tell her as I hand her my jacket "what about you" she questions me "I'm fine" I tell her, she hesitates but grabs the jacket and puts it on as soon as its on her i hug her to my body to try and keep her warm she turns around so she's facing me and puts her arms around my neck and berries her head in my shoulder I rest my head on her shoulder.
Being under a house for so long you get pins and needles in your arms and legs and your body goes numb well that's me, Grace, Cailssa, Alex and Will were been stuck under this house for a good fifteen minutes hiding from those things the white speaks fall slow.
"Guys we need to move before they find us" I whisper "I know I'm figuring out a plan ,I think I  might have one but bear with me" he tells us "I'll go out first and check if it's 'safe' to move if so I'll signal will to come out than Cailssa than you Jane with Grace" he tells us in a whisper I nod in agreement, Alex slowly moves from his spot slowly moves to the front of the house when he gets to the opening and looks around and slowly slides himself out , he slowly stands he looks around the area. He signals Will to come out Will does to when it's Cailssa turn she gives me a questing look I just nod at her she moves really slow from under the house and stands now its me, I move slowly ,the best I can holding Grace I get to the opening and move out from under the house and stand up Grace quickly puts her legs around my waist and holds onto my neck I rub her arms to try and warm her up she's freezing her checks are red and she's really pale , we all are but I'm pretty sure Grace is the worst "Alex where are we going" I say in a whisper "somewhere warm and a bit safer than we are now not in the open with food and water with weapons I think I might have our solution follow me be as quite as possible try not move to fast" he tells us.
I walk besides Cailssa I grab her hand ,while my other hand is on graces waist keeping her on my hip , we walk slowly down the street .
We start walking towards a corner and Alex stops at the front of it so that stops all of us he looks down it than starts walking again I did the only thing I can think of I follow him with Cailssa besides me As we walk down the new street I look around there are red speaks everywhere and in some places its big puddles of red stuff I think it's blood the snow slowly falls on it, Alex turns around and sees us he doesn't look happy his eyes look like stones he's staring at something behind us I turn and look behind me there's body figures behind us Alex appears in front of me and will stands in front of Cailssa I pull Cailssa closer to me she squeezes my hand.
One of the body figures steps forward with a smile of some sort on its face it's got blood all over it's clothing and face I know it's one of those things, they must of saw us move from under the house.
I look around some more there's more body figures behind us "Jane I'm scared" Grace tells me ""I know baby" I tell her and kiss her cold cheek, I look for an escape there is but if we ran they would follow.
"what do you want" it's Alex who speaks bloody dipshit , they look at him as if he were crazy One of them say something but in a language swe can't understand, another figure steps forward "Aidan" Grace whispers with a tear going down her cheek "they don't want much all they want is your blood that's all ,is that asking to much, you see no matter how much you run or hide they'll always find you" he tells us, I study him he looks the same kinda besides being really pale and blood everywhere on his body his shirt is ripped along with his pants. I let go of Cailssa's hand and side step so he can see me " What are you" I question him "your worst to be nightmare" Aidan tells me " you don't scare me" it's Cailssa she's next to me she grabs my hand "well we will have to do something about that now don't we" Aidan tells her with a smile "what you gonna do" Will ask in a smart ass voice, Aidan says something but in a the same language as before bodies step forward, "Stay together if we can if not be safe stay alive" Alex tells us in a whisper we Stand in a circle of some kind, Cailssa on on side of me Alex the other with will I'm front of us, I hold Grace close to my side she has a tight hold on my neck and hips, Cailssa on the other hand has a really tight grip on my hand.
"Grace" Aidan says but she doesn't listen she just keeps her head on my shoulder "Grace were meant to be friends remember, I'm like the brother you never had well that's what you said" he tells her, she moves her head of my shoulder and looks at Aidan "your not my friend or brother your a blood sucking freak a killer" she yells at him she sends daggers his way with her eyes if looks could kill he'd be dead dead ten times over "well that's not nice Grace" Aidan tells her "oh well that's as nice as I'm gonna be" she tells him angry " get ready to run" Alex whispers so we can just hear what he says, Aidan turns around to the other body figures and says something but again in the  language we can't understand.
"if we were to run were do we go" I question Alex "I think it's best to split up girls stay together Alex your with me" Will tells us.
I get into the best running prestion I can holding Grace "NOW" Will yells, I bloated as soon as I heard the words leave his mouth , I don't look back neither does Cailssa we just keep running, I run as fast as I can so does Cailssa holding Grace isn't very easy while running but I have no choice she won't be able to keep up with us So I hold her close and keep running.
"there not following us" it Grace who speaks "try looking on the roofs and under house's there bound to be following" I tell her "there's none under the houses or on the roofs" Grace tells me "we need to find somewhere to stay at less for an hour or two" Cailssa says "maybe not every step we take leads us to more danger or deaths" I say "the next house we see and it looks good we rest there" Cailssa tells me "how about something better a store were we can get food warmer clothes" I say Cailssa nods in agreement "okay but with one " Cailssa ask "green Dale's the closet we go there" I say she nods again we run down the next street we see I slow down to a jog so does Cailssa we run/jog to the store

I put Grace on her feet "you good to walk" I question her "I think so" she says she stands next to me while Cailssa keeps look out, I grab a bobbie pin from my hair and put it in the lock and twist it a bit to ,I hear a Click it's unlocked I put the Bobbie pin back in my hair , I open the door and look around the store quickly  ,as soon as the others are in I shut the door and lock it I see a table and move to it Cailssa comes to my aid and helps me move the table against the door.
I look around the store to have a better look around it i see an Axe I walk up to it and grab it, it's heavy but it do the job Cailssa walks up to me with Grace besides her holding her hand "what do we grab" she questions me "warmer clothes, food and what ever weapons you can find" I tell her and hand her the knife I found earlier "Cailssa take this " I ask her "what about you?" she questions, I show her the axe she nods and takes the knife "Jane can I be with you" she questions I nod Grace let's go of Cailssa's hand and grabs mine instead "let's get you some warmer clothes" I tell her and we walk to the clothing section I see a pair of jeans I grab it along with a white blouse I spot along with a jacket and snow coat "put these on kideo they'll keep you warm" I tell her she nods and grabs the stuff and goes to get changed. I look at the clothing and find beanies I see a black one and put it on my head I also see black finger gloves and put them on as well , I look for  other clothes for Cailssa I find more pairs of gloves and pick them up they should fit Grace and Cailssa "Jane" Grace says she's behind me I look at her she's dressed she passes me my jacket I gave her before I put it on and pass her the gloves I found she puts them on her hands "you warm enough" I question her "yes" she tells me and Fix's her white beanie that still lays on her head "good" I say "you hungry" I ask her eyes light up as if I had just said chocolate "yes" she tells me "wanna get some food than" I ask "yes please"
