Chapter Seven ~ Run

ALEX POV

"NOW" Will yells we bolt in a different direction from the girls, we run me and Will the creatures  follow me and Will i look behind and see their only following us and not the girls Im happy there not following them, I keep running as fast as I can so does Will "there not following the girls" Will tells me while we keep running for our lives "I know but why aren't they I think they want them alive for some reason" I say I think of my sister her smile along with Jane my best friend  "there ok as long as their with Jane she's one tough cookie you know" Will tells me "yeah I know Jane is one tough cookie no one gets in her way not even me"  i say with a small laugh "we will survive they will survive this me, you, Cailssa, Jane, little Grace we all will" he tells me "their still following" I say talking about those things behind us "their probably not gonna stop till they get us" he tells me I hear banging footsteps  I look around to find the source of the noise "look the rooftops" I say "there got problems big time to be running on roofs and jumping from one to another" he tells me "I know what you mean" say "I don't think where gonna be able to run them out" Will tells me "then what do we do run till we drop" I ask him "that sounds like an idea" he tells me with a smirk "what you wanna do" I ask "I don't know really they'll just find us again or worse the girls" he says "I know that's what I'm worried about they'll give up on us then go look for the girls why don't we fight them off" I ask "that sounds like an better idear but what do we fight with were got no weapons" he tells me "yes we do" I say and show him the gun "and we can always make weapons" I say "but what do we make weapons out off" he ask "we lead them into a store and we use whatever we can find as an weapon" I tell him "witch store theres like three stores in town Alex and for all we know there could be other people hiding there" Will tells me " true then why don't we try our chances somewhere else" I ask I think of somewhere we can get weapons from "what about the police station there's shotguns, pistals, rifles and lots of others weapons" I tell him "ok how do we get in" he ask me "I've got keys be easy to get in don't have to smash anything" I tell him "wait ur a cop" he ask "I'm not just a cop I'm second in command" "why didn't you say anything" he ask "because Didn't think about it" I say "well let's get on the road Alex or should I say officer" he says and laughs "shut up" I say and laugh with him,

we keep running trying not to trip over "where been running for ages Alex where gonna have to stop before we fall and I'm pretty close so are you were gonna falling over then where gonna have to deal with those things man how far is the station from here" Will ask me "not far from here how much further can you go I don't know about you but I'm good" I tell him "I good just like a walk in the park" he tells me "turn this corner" I say we turn the corner and keep running up a street "take a left" I tell him,

we do and run faster "take another left and well be down the street the station is" I tell him with a smile and run even faster so does Will we take a left I see the station we keep running I grab the keys out of my pocket I run to the door I unlock it we go in I shut the door behind us and lock it,

I run to the gun cabnet and unlock it ,I grab a shot gun and aim it at the door "grab a rifle man it's easy to shot have you shot a gun before cause if you have it make my day alot more easy" I tell him "yeah I've shot a gun before" he tells me I nod 'be ready for anything" I tell him he nods and loads the gun Will gets on one knee and I do the same and loads the shot gun we aim our guns at the door we wait quitly there's not a sound in the room "where are they" Will ask "I don't know" I say "maybe we scared them off? " Will ask "I don't think so why would they follow us but not the girls" I ask "their somewhere hiding they wouldn't just follow then leave there in here just doing as we are being quite not wanting to be found" Will tells me "we should look for food and water while were at it find the girls " I say "knowing those things are all over the place ready to do whatever there gonna do" Will says "I know what your saying but we need food and water" Will adds "then we get food and water show them who's incharge" I say with a smile

"gather what guns we can arm yourself to the max make sure guns loaded with bullets there's gotta be a way to kill or harm, there has to be load as many bags as possible grab what you can" I tell him and run to the cabnet and load myslef with guns and knifes i load the guns with bullets so it's easier I put bullets boxs in my pockets I grab five pistals two shotguns and a rifle or two, while grabbing a belt to put knives in I grab a couple of grenades , I put a shotgun on my back , I also  grab a gun bag and load it with as many guns possible I put bullets infront pocket so it's easy to get to "grab guns for the girls Cailssa and Jane both know how to shot we'll have to teach Grace while were at it she needs to know how to protect herself" I tell him "there safe man there safer than us anyway you know what there probably worrying about us to expasliy Cailssa you know your sister and all Jane won't let anything happen to her if she can help it" Will tells me "I know but I'm just having trouble figuring out what going on I mean today seemed like so normal this morning but turned out it wasn't now cause of those things we split up the group split up" I tell him fighting my emotions on the inside  "I don't know if there alive if she's alive I would have to see her with my own eyes to believe it" I tell him "I know what you mean I never found Jordan and well Aidan not himself he's one of them" he tells me "I know what your going through I'm here for you Alex" he tells me "thanks come on let's go get something to eat I'm hungry" I tell him he smiles at me "you loaded I'm good you" I he ask and loads the rifle
Yeah I'm good what you got" I ask

"yeah got 2 shotguns, alot of pistals,a 40 by 40 and a rifle got about over 25 box's of bullets a couple knifes here and there, about five grenades and a few other guns" Will tells me with a smirk "awesome add that to what I've got and we can take out a small army" tell him with a smirk in return "let's hit the road I'm hungry" I tell him as I walk to the door I put the bag on my back and unlock the door I try to open it but it's jared shut.

I walk to a window I open it it looks safe but it's not I slowly climb out the window I jump off and land on the cold snow "Will come on" I say and look around I look on the roofs there not on them anymore, something not right there no where to be seen THUMP I turn around to see Will behind me "come on I'm gonna go see what was blocking the door" i walk towards the door it's been hammered shut with nails it wasn't like that before "they must of done it" I say "come on let's get some food" he tells me I nod we walk to the nearst store
