"California, here I come!"

I let out a slight smile while gazing at the cracked screen of my beloved iPhone.
I decided to take a quick peek at Jinnie, who sat in her chair while crossing her arms just to find her strong, inescapable gaze still fixated at my phone.

"What?"
I smile hastily.

Maybe I shouldn't have acted so hastily.

The tension was then broken with another one of her sighs.
But this time it was different.

"I'm overreacting. My bad."
She finally unpuffed her body as her arms fall by her side.

"I'm not your mother, so you choose what's best for you and this... Yeah. Take care though."
She said while looking at the ground in seeming shame while getting up in a slug like manner.
My hasty smile quickly dropped as my eyes followed her grab the car keys and gracefully, but still somewhat awkwardly exit out the front door.

I was then met with complete silence while the quiet engine noise of our car rang in my ears.
At this point I just wanted to crawl into a hole and forget about everything.

Jeez, I'm so easy to upset.

Maybe I shouldn't have texted so impulsively, I should be more lowkey.
I'm getting too comfortable nowdays.

As I put my phone down, I decided to feed my beloved cat and call it a day.
Even though it's only 10am.
I didn't sleep well the night before, so why not take a little morning nap.

Without a single other thought crossing my mind i just dozed off in peace.
I've never felt this before, should I be more excited? Or have I waited for too long. Doesn't matter.

Y/N's POV:

Great, this is awesome, I can't remember the last time I've went on a flight alone.
Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever have.
This is even better. Something new, finally! I'm still a bit nervous though.

"California, here I come!"

We finally settled on a flight 3 days from now.
It isn't too bad, the trip will last about a week, but we'll see how it goes.

Jinnie helped me pack my bags, it was quite a lot actually, mostly just normal plain clothing, nothing special. Oh, and one bikini.
And maybe a few dresses, I want to look pretty too, yknow.
I forgot to mention that I won't be alone with him. Other people are coming too.
Not sure who though. I don't really care.

I quickly go over the list of what I had to bring, and start jumping around the room out of pure excitement.
I felt like a child going to Disney land, for the first time.
Get yourself together, Y/N!
But I haven't even been to Disney land yet.
I think think it's in California too.
I wonder if he's ever been to Disney land.

As days have passed, it was finally the day of my flight.
I woke up early, around 5:30am because I just couldn't sleep that night.

At all.

The sun was already starting to get up but it was still pretty dark, I tiptoed downstairs and did a morning stretch, while simultaneously yawning.
I look over at the counter to see that the liquor bottle had been completely emptied out, by Jinnie of course.
I sighed and decided to lift the bottle and drink of whats left on the very bottom, which was almost nothing.
The strong taste awoken my senses, but also made me feel disgusted, because the liquid was warm.
I put it down while making myself some plain black coffee, and prepared some vitamins.
This day is going to be great. I can feel it.

I can't wait.

Alex's POV:

As I slowly woke up, I look over to my drawer to grab my phone while squinting at the bright sun rays from my window.

It's almost 7am, not too bad.

Holy... TODAYS THE FLIGHT!
I quickly jump up and then realize that maybe that was a little dramatic.
My eyes started to darken as I felt the world shift from my legs.
Damn it, that was definitely too dramatic.
I slowly lie back down, regaining my consciousness, and staring at my ceiling.
After a while, I got back up, much slower this time, and yet again looked at the time. It was already almost 7:30 and I needed to do something. Y/N's flight is tonight, so I still have plenty of time to waste. Well, not completely, I still haven't announced it on my social media. What a fuss.
