Scars

Todoroki is very conscious of his looks and can get insecure about his scar no matter how much you tell him that there's nothing wrong with him, although he appreciates you trying to cheer him up and says that he doesn't care what others think so long as he has you and eventhough he is incredibly awkward when it comes to any kind of affection or intamacy, he tries his best to be with you and you love him for it. You are so proud of how far he's come over the years and you take every opportunity to tell him so.
He still flinches sometimes whenever you go anywhere near his face but you are the only one he lets get close to him.
He notices that's you have scars too and asks about them, you hesitate at first but he's always trusted and been honest with you so you decide to do the same and open up to him. He apologises to you saying how sorry he is that the world made you do that to yourself and he hugs you to him, which is a big deal because he never initiates physical contact first but you don't make a fuss because you don't want him to get nervous again, but the truth is for both of you, that it is and you are so proud of Todoroki for doing it.
Any progress, no matter how small, is amazing and you love him so much and he loves you.
