Lexi yawned. She hopped out of her bed and walked over to Hailey's dressing table. She grabbed one of the combs and began brushing her long curly hair.
"How was your sleep cutie," came a voice. Lexi turned around to see Hailey in her uniform with a sparkly blue toothbrush in her hand.
"I slept well," Lexi murmured. Lexi then ran off to the changing rooms to change from her PJ's to her school uniform.
She then skipped down the stairs and ran to the dining hall to find a seat near Kate. "Morning!" Kate said. Lexi smiled and started to eat a large bowl of sweet sesame soup.
Lexi noticed Kate talking with another girl. "Whose that?" Lexi asked. "Its just Meri, my roommate."
Hailey suddenly slid down the stairs to take a seat near Lexi. "Hi Hailey," Lexi murmured. "Hi cutie," Hailey replied. "Cutie. She thinks I'm a cutie?" Lexi thought quietly.
Suddenly, the bell rang and the students all stood up from their seats to go to their assigned classes.
5 HOURS LATER:
Lexi skipped out of art class to go to the dorms. Out of nowhere, Hailey appeared and grabbed Lexi's hand.
Lexi took one look and screamed as loud as she could and ran to the dorms to lock the door. After a while, the door unlocked to reveal Hailey with a room key in her hand.
Hailey plopped down on a chair next to Lexi. "Listen, I didn't mean to scare you," Hailey began. "It's been a little tough for me. Love bug breaking up with me and now I think I have a cru..... erm ...umm..... I gotta go."
Hailey slipped out of the room leaving Lexi alone. "Did she actually almost say she had a crush on me?" Lexi stayed in the room thinking about that sentence Hailey had said.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. "Who is it," Lexi called. "Its me, Kate," Kate called into the door.
Lexi got up from her cozy chair to unlock the door. Kate came in and sat in the same chair that Hailey had sat in.
"You missed the entire second period," Kate whispered into Lexi's ear. "Also, Mr. Rosa, the art teacher, wants to speak to you," Kate added.
Once Lexi herd Kate, she raced out the door to get to the art classroom. Kate giggled and sat up from the chair.
She heard a faint crinkle of paper. Kate turned around to see an old photo on the chair. Kate smoothed it out to reveal a picture of her and Hailey sitting on a couch together.
"Love you sweetie pie," Kate murmured, giving the photo a kiss and walking out the door.
