You've plucked me from my path that I was so eager to go down, you picked me up like a mother pulling their child from the back of their shirt for doing something wrong.
You praise me for turning my dying life around, but My love, it was all you. You are the one who Lifted my frowning face into a smile, who brightened my dull eyes, I can now see color again.
Oh, how I longed to know what the world looked like in color, thanks to you I am able to see the green in the trees or blades of grass, the bright blue in the sky or the ocean, the bright yellow from the sun that shines on my face and gives my pale skin a sun-touched complexion.
