Chapter 8: The First Day

   Today was the first day of UA highschool, I woke up early and took a shower, thinking about all the new people I'd meet. I finished my shower and put on my school uniform, I then french braided my H/C hair and washed my face.
     Suddenly, the sweet aroma of miso soup filled the air and I walked to the kitchen to find Inko. Izuku must have been asleep because she asked me to wake him up. I went to his room, but instead of finding Izuku asleep, he was muttering to himself.
      "I wonder what UA will be like, what kind of quirks I'll see, what kind of people I'll meet." "Izuku, breakfast is ready" I interrupted. We went back to the kitchen to eat and Inko told us to be careful and to train hard. We both said we would and I waited for Izuku to finish getting ready.
       After about 10 minutes of him rushing around his room, we left for school. "Are you excited Akina?" asked Izuku, "I didn't get much sleep last night because of excitement." I replied. We kept walking until we saw beautiful arches with cherry blossom trees all around. It was truly a beautiful school.
       We both nervously walked inside and found class 1a. I sat next to a boy with multicolored hair and what seemed to be a scar. The teacher still hadn't shown up so I introduced myself to the boy I was sitting next to "Hi, my name is Akina Aoki, what's your name?" "O-Oh, my name is Shoto Todoroki." he replied. This boy is pretty cute, anyway , back to talking. "What's your quirk?" "My left side creates fire and my right creates ice." Todoroki said emotionless.
         "Cool, I can copy other quirks if I touch a person with that quirk." he didn't seem to interested in keeping a conversation. I decided to back off and I looked around the classroom. The teacher still wasn't there, hm, he's 10 minutes late. I ignored it thinking be may have just woken up late or something.
           Finally, a man opens the door, but, not in normal attire. He was in a yellow sleeping bag, his hair was long and unkempt. He dropped to the floor, rolled over and said "My name is Shota Aizawa and I will be your homeroom teacher. This is the hero course, go somewhere else if you want to play at being friends." everyone was stunned.
         He then got out of his sleeping bag and told us we would be taking physical tests, but ohr quirks were allowed. Also, the student in last place would be expelled. I was nervous of course that I or Izuku would be expelled.
           I remember to keep a level head and start with the physical tests. I did a lot better than I expected to do, when the results came, my heart sank into my stomach. Izuku was in last place, surely he wouldn't expel him for that, right? I try to rationalize an argument and just when I was about to argue, he said he was lying and I immediately understood why he did it.
           A girl with long black hair said she knew that it was a lie all along. I should have known that was a lie, but, at least Izuku won't be expelled. I gathered myself as the class walked back into the building, we were then dismissed to lunch. I immediately went to Izuku who seemed to have made some friends. They introduced themselves as Ochako Uraraka and Tenya Iida.
           We all went to lunch and talked about the physical exams. We looked over our schedules and figured out what classes we'd be going to next. It was all so new to me, and I'm sure it was also new for them. The lunch bell rang and I went to my classes, leaving Iida and Uraraka.
            The final bell rang and I couldn't stop thinking about the cute boy from 1a. Me and Izuku walked home together and I barely got to the front door when Inko questioned us about our days. After dinner and a thousand questions, I finally went to sleep.

           Hi, do you guys have any ideas for a new fic? I hope to get more experience. Anyway, I'll try to write some more tomorrow.
