It was morning and I knew exactly what was about to happen, I sadly looked at the little girl. Her pretty white hair, her gown, her scared expression. It pained me to look at her, however, there was no getting out of this. She looked at me with an upset expression and held out her arm. I took it and copied her quirk. I was then taken down to the lab.
I was hooked up to a machine and the cold hard steel of a knife sliced into the flesh of my right thigh. Blood started pouring and they took it and put it through a machine. They did this a few more times, then but bandages on the cuts so I didn't bleed on the ground.
Usually, they just stick a needle in my arm and draw blood, but when I was in trouble, they did this. I'd kind of gotten used to it, but it still hurt really bad. I was taken back to my "room" and saw the little girl having the same thing done.
I felt really bad for her, she has it worse than me. She has that done every day, while I only have it done every week. I wish I could take her away with me, but I don't have the time to do so. I overheard Overhaul say "Eri, stop squirming." as I walked down a long, cold hallway I knew oh, so well.
I couldn't stop thinking of Eri the rest of the day. Flashbacks of her sadly looking at me and giving me her arm. Her hooked up to that evil machine. I couldn't shake it, no matter how hard I tried.
I looked in the mirror and watched my E/C eyes beam with determination. I was gonna go to Eri's room, and I wasn't going to get caught. I knew I couldn't go in her room, so I decided to leave her a note instead.
First, I disabled the camera, then, I put on some gloves, picked out my paper and pen I stole, and started writing. "Eri, know that I'm sorry for what you have to go through." I made sure to disguise my handwriting and I folded up the note.
I snuck out into the hallway and carefully got to Eri's door. I slipped the note under her door and snuck back to my "room" without getting caught. I went to sleep happy that I managed to sneak back to Eri's room.
I woke up to a letter under my own door. I was curious so I opened it and it read, "Akina, I'm not sure wether you did this, but if you were the one who wrote me that note, thank you. :)" I was very excited and quickly hid the note behind my mirror. It was decided, I was leaving that night.
