I giggle at the girl's excitement. She looks sort of like a puppy with those stars in her eyes. It's cute. She's cute.

I take a deep breath in and let my fingers graze over the keys.Happily, she sighs in content.

"I used to hear a simple song"

"That was until you came along"

"Now in its place is something new"

"I hear it when i look at you."

I look over to the girl next to me who seems almost like a child. She has her head resting on my shoulder, excitedly waiting for the song to progress.

I smile and look back down at the piano.

I feel a presence behind us and dart my head back, startling myself and a peaceful-looking Daniela.

"Huh? Oh! Sister!" She says from beside me, sitting up and dusting off her gown."What are you doing here?" She asks.

Bela looks at us curiously.Heat rises to my cheeks and i keep my eyes on the keys, refusing to look up from them.

I feel like we've been caught doing something unspeakable, and actually, in these circumstances, maybe we have.

Bela only stares at the piano, seemingly lost in thought.

Then, she sits on the piano bench next to me, a playful glint in her eyes.

"What's wrong?Aren't you going to play?Don't let me stop you." she says and gestures at the piano, beaming at me innocently, as if she hadn't just scared the life out of me and Daniela both.

I sigh and smile."Yes my lady."I resume the song right from where i left off, which is just during a piano solo.

Bela's expression is unreadable as she watches my hands intently and Daniela just huffs in slight annoyance and relief, placing her head back on my shoulder.

From what i've seen, they're just bug blood lusting sadistic vampire girls—but this side of them...i would go as far as to say is cute.

"With simple songs i wanted more."

"Perfection is so quick to bore"

"You are more beautiful by far."

"Our flaws are who we really are."

And in comes another piano solo, which i really don't mind.I'm quite insecure about my voice, but the girls seem infatuated with it.

Even now in her calm state, i am still afraid of lady Bela, but somehow, i manage to feel a bit at ease.

Hell, given their history and what i've seen and experienced, my nerves should be through the roof.

But they aren't—if anything i'm a bit relaxed myself.

Perhaps it's because of lady Daniela's presence..but now that i'm thinking about it, i think i might be warming up a bit to Bela too.

I feel a presence behind us yet again but don't turn around, too focused on the music to bother letting my curiosity get in the way of playing.

I continue through the song, eventually reaching the middle-ish end.

I excitedly take another deep breath, since this is my favorite part.

"I used to hear a simple song!" It felt as if autumn leaves and birds were flying around me as I engulfed myself in the music, letting my heart take over my head and pouring everything i had into it, my heart and soul.I feel at ease.

"That was until you came along!" I emphasize every first word, as the original singer does.I'm not screaming at the top of my lungs, but any onlooker could definitely tell i was passionate in my singing by listening.

"You took my broken melody" I notice the girls at my sides stare at me in shock while another walks up behind the piano and leans on it. I make sure my voice is strong and controlled, however i add rasp to it to add style.

"And now i hear a symphony—" The last word is long and high but i hit every pitch perfectly.

Finally the song comes to an end and i'm completely out of breath, not having realized while doing it how into it i got.I was in the zone, i suppose.

"Can you sing me to sleep?" Daniela asks with a smile. My face flushes a bit more and i nod, not being able to speak at the moment because of the embarrassment.

"Wow, i can't believe you wasted such talent in becoming a maiden." Cassandra snickers from behind the piano. When did she get there?Bela stays silent, staring at me intently.

My eyebrows tilt upward.I didn't choose to be a maiden, they chose it for me.I wish I could've been a musician, but it seems as though my life and career choices have already been made by someone other than me.

"Do you know any other songs?" Bela questions.I nod and she smiles."Well then have at it."

We spent around thirty more minuets in the Orchestra Hall. They listened silently, and i was happy to be able to express myself a bit.I've never really had an audience before. It's nice..

"You've got a wonderful voice, bloodbag.Perhaps blood isn't all you're good for.Do you mind singing to us more often?" Cassandra asks.I'm not sure weather to take that as a compliment or not."I do not, lady Cassandra. In fact,i'm grateful you three are kind enough to sit here and listen.I appreciate it.I haven't sung like that in a long time." I look down at my hands, almost tearing up out of gratitude.I haven't been this happy in a while, but i know it won't last.I mean obviously not since it's these girls that are making me happy out of all people. But still, that doesn't make me any less thankful that they cared enough to listen.

The girls laugh and my heart swells."Just because we're vampires doesn't mean we can't appreciate some genuine talent. You've got pipes, pet."They stand up."See you around.Enjoy the rest of your break day." Daniela waves as her and her sisters head out the door behind us.

I stare at the door, grinning like an idiot. Those girls...how do i love more than one person at once? It's odd but everything they do i find oddly attractive, and i find myself falling harder and harder for them every day.

I sigh, knowing i shouldn't be having these thoughts.I quickly shove them down and stand up, beginning to walk back to my room after having gotten little sleep.
