As I sat at my desk, looking outside the glass wall of my office and enjoying the night view of Seoul from a height, I was trying to recall the memories I had with Jia. We didn't date so much back then because we needed to be extra careful from being caught. We mostly spent our time in my place or her place. I had to remember every little thing she liked. This one date should work out, or else I would lose the chance of getting her back.

You shouldn't think of a date, you're in charge of promoting the new network.

My subconscious tried to tell me. But I was not Park Jia who's always professional. I would deal with the promo later.

I got my focus back on thinking of a perfect date, so perfect that she wouldn't have any other choices but to get back to me.

I got up at 3 today. Despite being nervous about today's date, I forced myself to have enough sleep last night. I needed to be in great condition today.

I was not fully awake, still felt kinda sleepy but if I took some sleep again there's a chance I would not wake up in time. Lazily, I walked to the kitchen, brewed some coffees, and worked out a little. Stretching up my body felt nice.

Once the coffee ready, I took only three sips. That should be enough because I was planning on having some coffee with Jia later this morning. But the coffee tasted nice I was tempted to have some more.

"You're good but I'll save you for later." I talked to a cup of coffee. That got me giggling. Then I was off to the bathroom, took a good cold shower, and got ready.

My first weapon to create a perfect date for Jia was to wear outfits that she liked. She always told me that she liked all-black on me. Other than black, she loved white and navy blue. I was always down for all-black, but I didn't want to create such a dark vibe for today's date. I decided I would go with white.

I wore a white turtleneck knit-wear with a black trouser. For shoes, I wore dark brown chelsea boots. I didn't want to wear a coat, but in case the weather got too cold, I brought one.

I looked at myself in a big mirror in my room

I looked at myself in a big mirror in my room. Now that I was 182cm tall, lost some baby fat, worked out, I thought I looked fine. And I hoped Jia would see me as a man now, not a little innocent boy anymore.

Jia didn't give me her number but she told me she still lived in her house where I used to visit million times. I would just drove there to pick her up. There was no detail about this date, what time and where I'd pick her up, but I told her to get ready as early as possible.

At 4, I drove to Jia's place. The city was still asleep. I played some songs while driving to keep myself company.

Her home was not far from mine, 15 minutes later I had arrived in front of the gate of her house. The security was well informed of my coming and let me in right away.
