His father was a warrior just like himself. His name was Odin, King of Phthia Odin was also King of Myrmidons who were trained warrior. Odin was a greek hero who died in combat when Achillies was just a boy who was training to be a warrior at such a young, ripe age.
His mother was a sea nymph, a Nereid. Her name was Frigga. some thought she was an immortal goddess that is why the people believed that Achillies couldn't be killed. She was also more of a prophet, telling her son his future whenever he went to battle.
She dearly wished that her only beloved son would stop fighting and going to wars but she lost the argument every time they have.
She could not control his decisions nor his destiny.
