Black crows chirped from above both
armies a few of them swarming for the upcoming bloodshed. On one side King of Thessaly and his army stood ready to defend their country from greedy invaders like the one standing before them on the battlefield. On the other side King Alexander stood with his army. Within his army
were several soldiers of other Greek countries he had previously taken over stood behind him. He was the King of Mycenae but in his efforts to combine all the other countries of Greece together he was better known as the King of Kings. The messenians, The Arcadians and The Epeians all fight for him now. Whichever way this battle went Thessaly would rather independent or join under the command of Alexander.
Both kings rode forwards on their chariots to meet in the middle. When their chariots stopped they stepped off and walked towards each other. The crowd squawked loudly once again.
When the two stopped at mere feet from other, the rising tension was broken by King of Kings as he looked up at the clear blue sky. "The crowds are ready to scavenge the losses that will come" Alexander quipped. His tone was laced with humor.
Triopas, the King of Thessaly disregarded the fat man's salty humor. Instead he went straight to the point "Remove your army from my lands, Alexander. Thessaly is my country. No greedy king will ever rule this land" Triopas said calmly.
Alexander laughed looking at his soldiers then looking back at Triopas. "The crows are here for a reason my friend. I am not leaving your land unless your country wins"
Alexander said, tauntingly."Then you will be leaving my land with less men than you had when you arrived!" Triopas snapped.
"Let's settle it the old fashioned way" Alexander chirped cockily.
"My best man against yours?" Triopas trailed off a cocky smirk on his face as if mocking Alexander, who nodded concealing a smirk of his own. "And if my man wins?"
"Then we will leave Thessaly for good. You have my word" Alexander said seriously. "If I win then you bend the knee and listen to my command. I control your country and your people."
Triopas narrowed his eyes and turned his head to the side. "BOAGRIUS!" He shouted loud enough for both armies to hear. Triopas turned his head to the side as a smirk formed on his face, his soldiers erupted into cheers.
Alexander looked around triopas, his arrogant face fell slightly at the sight of one of the biggest men he's ever seen push his way through the crowds of the soldiers, carrying two spears and a shield with his sword tucked away.
His large body covered in scars. His face was scarred as well. He concealed his shock quickly at the sight of the large man and shrugged his shoulders indifferently when he saw Triopas looking at him.
Alexander smirked before the King and turned his head to the side just like Triopas did. "THOR!" He shouted his deep voice resonating through the air.
The battlefield fell quiet. There were no cheers in the air as Thor was nowhere to be seen. The sound of laughter from Thessaly's soldier filled and grated against Alexander's ears.
"My king" One of his guards came forward on his horse. "Thor is not with the army"
Alexander's face turned ted with Fury.
"Where is he?" He shouted angrily."He must be back at the camp still. I sent a boy to look for him"
