chapter 12

Morning sunlight pass through the window and shine on her face, the alarm clock has rang for 15 minutes, yet no one is willing to turned it off. Until her phone keep vibrating because of those unseen messages, Yuria finally reached out a hand and smashed the clock. She yawn and opened her eyes , its another busy day.

Its already been 2 years since she graduated, now she is working as a secretary in a big company.
She get up from her bed and walk to the bathroom while avoiding some boxes on the floor. Her house is still messy, she just moved to here 3 days ago.
She watch at the mirror and saw a graceful lady with a tired face, she overworked yesterday. After cleaning herself, she put on her business suit and headed to her car. She take out her phone, hundreds of unseen messages pop out, the workers is searching for her again, she ignored those messages and dial her private detective, Harris.

"Any news from them?" Ask Yuria while starting her car.
"Not yet, but you may need to quit your job." Said Harris, he had been tracking Valencia's movement these years to help Yuria escape from her.
"...did someone leak my information?"
"You know that your boss plans to have some businesses cooperation with her company."
".... darn it!" She got this job not long ago, she needs to change her identity and workplace frequently because Valencia always manage to find her after few months she settled in a city. Thanks to Harris she can escape before being discovered.
"I don't care! I'm not in part of that cooperation plan, its not my business, I need to work here at least 3 months, or my reputation will ---"
"Wow wow calm down, I just telling you to be careful, they won't find you so soon."
"..... sorry to yell at you, I'm just too exhausted from moving to a new house." Yuria sigh.
"Oh you just reminded me, I forgot to tell you that a group of Valencia's men broke into your previous home last night."
"....that insane." After hiding through many countries far away from Valencia, they decided to come back to the city where Valencia live because Valencia have focused on finding her in overseas country, she thought she can have some moment of peace here.
"The current residence I arranged for you had many hotel nearby, in case something like that is going to happened and you are not ready to move, just hide in those places before I find a way for your escape."
"Ok, I'll need end the call now or I will be late."
"Don't get caught, I still looking forward to my salary this month."Harris chuckles and end the call.

After a 15 minutes driving, Yuria reach her workplace, she rush to her office and saw many workers is waiting for her.
"Serena you finally come!!!! " Yuria halt for a second and ask "what happens?".
Serena is her new name, its still strange to hear someone calling her Serena, but that reminds her do not letting her guard down.
"You didn't see my messages??! We need someone to do the presentation." Said her helper.
"What presentation?"
"The meeting!! We need someone to do presentation on that important meeting with Ollie later."
Yuria's heart sank to the bottom, Ollie is one of Valencia's company.
"But I thought it will be on next week, and I already told you guys from the starts that I don't want to get involved with this plan"
"Their company suddenly change the date, and we really need you, you are the best person to do it."
Yuria is the most successful secretary they ever seen, there is no work that she can't do, and she will always hit their target in every business negotiation. There haven't been any mistake in her works.
"Who will present in that meeting?” if Valencia will be there, she needs to take Harris's advice for quitting this company more seriously.
"I don't know,  and our boss also ordered you to present in that meeting"
"Tsk!  I will go talk to her."

Yuria furiously headed to boss office. She knocked on the door and say
" boss, I am Serena."
"Come in"
She walk into the room and prepare to argue
"Boss! I have a problem ---"
"I will give you two times your normal salary and a week of paid holidays after this case closed."
"I won't do it even---"
"4 times"
"I have no problems." Said Yuria with a professional smile. She still have school dept to pay.
"......"
"Anyway, will miss Valencia present in the meeting?"
"That Owner of the company??? Are you out of your mind? This is just a small business project for them."
"Great, leave the presentation to me." Said Yuria while giving a wink to her boss.
"......stop it... I'm disgusted."

Yuria immediately leave the room, she just have half an hour to prepare the presentation, but she is confident in her presenting and negotiating skills.
"Serena, its time for the meeting." Said her helper, Yuria nodded, she take a deep breath and entered the meeting room. Their guests already waiting for them. Yuria quickly greet them and starts her presentation.

The meeting go quite successfully, they seems to look forward to the cooperation. After a while, Yuria finished her speech and she received an admire glare from her helper.
"Miss secretary" said their leader.
"Yes! You can called me Serena."
"Miss Serena, your working skills are impressive, we are sorry for the suddenly change of date, but your team still able to prepare a good presentation."
Yuria laugh, her boss will be so proud of the compliment.
Their leader chuckles and say "you are good enough that I want to kidnap you to our compa--"
"NO" said Yuria with a polite smile.
"......."he is just trying to make a joke.
They continue to discuss about their plan. After the meeting end, the leader thanks them and leave the meeting room.
Yuria happily headed to her office and do her others works, she already decided to brag about this in front of her boss to extend her pay holiday.

"What is so funny?"ask Valencia with an annoyed tone. Yuria had escaped again this time and she is not in a good mood, yet the man in front of her is smiling like an idiot.
"I found an interesting person on the meeting with that small company." Said the man while pouring some wine for her, he is Valencia's little brother, his job is also offered by her.
"A pretty one?"
"Of course, on top of that, very smart and skilled, I'll need to organise some gathering with their team to meet her again."
"I felt pity for that girl." Valencia take a sip of the wine.
"........"

"Serena, drinks this."
"how old are you?"
"Let me refill your beer."
"Serena----"
Yuria is in the middle of a gathering, she felt dizzy and nauseous. She had been working on this project with Ollie for one week and everything is going well, except for the leader who keep paying extra attention to her. Now he is pushing her to drink. She frown at the glass of beer on her hand, this will be the sixth glass she drank.

"Just drink it, I heard that he has a strong background."whispered her helper.
"......."Yuria close her eyes and drink the beer, bitter liquid flow through her tongue to her stomach, she felt like she needs to throw up.
"Excuse me for a second." She stands up and rush to the washroom. After locking the door, she lean on the wall and covered her mouth, she plans to stay here until the gathering end.

The noise outside starts to lower down, she is not sure if her ears have problems because of the dizziness or the gathering has ended. She takes out her phone and text the helper.
Yuria: is it finally end?
Helper: Everyone is starting to leave, are you still alive? Do you need help?
Yuria: I need someone to drive me home. I can't even walk properly.
Helper: me too, hehe.
Yuria: ........
After a while, someone knock on her door, she opened it and saw her helper.
"We got someone to fetch us" She put an arm around her and leave the washroom. Yuria already can't opened her eyes.
".....who"
"That leader's sister."

"Just help me this time, pleaseeeeee."
"In your dream." Valencia scowl, she only drives here because he said he is drunk, but now he wants her to sent his favourite girl home.
"I will help you with your work."
"I don't need your help."
"...... "
Suddenly, she saw something and her eyes redden, she smirk and say "maybe I can help you this time."

In and out of consciousness, Yuria felt that she has been put into someone's car, after a while when everyone is gone from the car, she felt someone's lips pressed against her ears.
"So what is your home address?" The voice whispered.
"...did..Didn't my helper....told you....." She mumbled. She is too drunk until her vision blur out. She can't see who is talking to her.
Someone chuckles ,"Come to my house."  A tongue then slide through her ear. It made her sensitive ear tickly.
"Tsk." She push away the person and open the door of car.
"Sh**,... its locked." Yuria wants to fight back but she can't let out a single energy, she felt like she will pass out at any time.
"Didn't I told you don't curse in front of me....."
A hand caresses her hair gently, her body relaxed and she can't help but blackout.
The last moment she opened her eyes, she saw a blur vision of beautiful lady.
