Summer Love (Lauren Jauregui)

Chapter 8

Walking into coldstone, I went to talk to my manger about getting the day or two off. She was totally fine with it considering I did a very good job this week. 

"Hey Yelli" I looked up to see Lauren once again. I smiled brightly and waved to her and her friends.

"Hey" her friends looked at her funny and then at me. 

"I hung out with Gio yesterday and found out her Nickname was Yelli" Lauren said like it was no biggy. Her friends did that 'oh' look.

"Yeah, well I'll get your guy's order ready" they nodded sitting at the usual table.

As I prepared the order, I couldn't help but fancy at the table. Lauren was staring already, so to make it less weird I smiled and continued. 

"Four Oreo overloads with extra Oreos and whip cream." I said placing the trey with the ice cream on their table. They each got their ice cream, and smiled as they tasted it.

"Your a saint Gio!" Vero exclaimed making us laugh. I giggled before walking to the back and to attend another customer. 

After my shift was over, I walked gracefully to my car smiling that I was finally going to visit my grandparents after all these years. But I love my mom parents better, but that's because they lived next door. So we saw them everyday.

"Wait up!" I heard. I turned slowly and found Lauren walking over. "Nice car!" She said looking at it then at me.

"Thanks, it was a gift from my dad and my brother" she nodded. "What's up?"

"Just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out?" Her green eyes were brighter than I usually saw them in pictures and videos. They look so lovely in person.

"Well, I have to go home and pack for a three day trip with my dad. Do you want to help" She nodded with a radiant smile. I smiled back motioning her to get in.

During the ride to my dads house. She wanted to know about my family. I told her about my parents being divorce, and how they managed to be the bestest of friends, and some main things about my brothers and sisters.

"Wow, I only have two siblings while in total you have...?" I laughed at how she tried to remember how many we were.

"we're about 16 in total. Hopefully that's the end" I giggled turning the corner. I looked over at Lauren from the corner of my eye, and seen her pretty eyes wide. I guess of the number.

When getting to my house, kyle, Micky, and Riley were playing basketball in the driveway. Lauren and I stepped out, and walked over to them.

"Hey guys, this is Lauren. Lauren, this is my brothers Kyle and Micky, and my sister Riley" Lauren smiled and went over to hug them.

"Nice to meet you guys." She giggled.

"You look really familiar." Riley said looking at Lauren intently. I mentally face palmed my face, for my sisters lack of knowing who this person was. "I GOT IT!!" she yelled. "Your one of those girls in that girl group right. Cause Gio has tons of pictures of you on her wall" I glared at my sister and lightly pulled Lauren away.

"Your just like Jennel" I yelled before hearing that famous giggle coming Lauren. "Let me tell my dad I'm home, then we can go to my room." She nodded lightly following me.

"Gio, your home" he said coming down the stairs. "And you brought company" he smiled. He walked over to me and shook Laurens hand. "I'm Gio's dad Jesse Garcia." Lauren  smiled.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Garcia. I'm Lauren Jauregui" my dad remembered her last name and smiled over to me. I told my dad about them. He said he liked the last name Jauregui, cause he never heard of it before.

"Ah, yes. Fifth Harmony, right?" I face palmed again. I looked over at Lauren who looked at me with a smile.

"That's the one" she giggled.

"Well dad, I'll be upstairs getting some packing done" he nodded. I grabbed Laurens hand and raced upstairs to my room. "Sorry about that" I mumbled.

"Its OK. I like your family" she giggled. Before I can start talking, my door flew open to reveal my twin and Jennel.

"Gio!" Destiny yelled. "Guess what, mom got us a flight to go back home" I looked up at my sister and then at Jennel.

"But why, I don't want to go home!" To be honest I was probably the only one who was excited to visit dad, besides Jennel.

"Des is crazy babe. If you don't want to go home, Des is fine by herself. I don't know why she got the tickets" I looked over at Lauren who looked at me intently. Destiny followed my eyes and stared at Lauren.

"Oh, I'm sorry. We'll just talk about this later on" I nodded giving her a serious look at my twin sister. Jennel stood there awkwardly looking at the floor.

"Hi Lauren. Its nice to see you again" Jennel waved.

"Nice to see you to" Lauren smiled awkwardly before my sisters walked out. "She kinda does look like you"

"I'm not related" I rolled my eyes.  I grabbed my backpack and packed clothes for the weekends worth.

"So, your thinking about going back home? Where do you live anyways?" She asked as she helped me fold some of my clothes.

"We live in Los Angeles, but I really don't know why she has that idea of me wanting to go home, but I really don't" I shrugged.

"I don't want you to go. I want to know more about you" Did the Lauren Michelle Jauregui just say she wanted to know more about me. Me who is practically boring, and is really not that talkative?
