Chapter 4

Luke POV

Man Bella looks so perfect today, but I mean she looks perfect everyday. Now I know I'm dating Jessica but I don't feel anything towards her I just kind of felt bad for her. I mean what's not to love about Bella she's funny, sweet, and man she sure does have a good taste in music. Ever since the 4th grade the first time I laid eyes on her she was just so beautiful and then she had an American accent and I was hooked.

Today was the day I was going to ask Bella to Jessica's party, I don't always ask her because she hates them and I know that but this was party was going to be different that's for sure.

*later on my way to lunch

"Hey Bella wait up" I said making my way to her "oh sorry I'm just really hungry" "hey it's fine I'm hungry too" ok nows my chance I need to ask her before she makes plans with Michael. "Hey um so Jessica is having a party this Saturday wanna come?" I did it I said it but all I notice was the look of how unsure she was on her face. Oh great she's going to make up some excuse to not go, I shouldn't have asked.
Bella:Yeah sure I'll go
Luke:listen I know you don't lik... Wait what?
Bella:I said I would go man do you need help with English
Luke:hey shut up me speak good English! But you serious you'll go?
Bella: sure why not I mean I've only been to a party in 6th grade how different can they be?
Luke:*laughs* are you serious you haven't been to a party in that long, man you've got some catching up to do.

Man she actually said yes.

As we made our way to the cafeteria Calum and Michael walked up to us.

Michael: so Bella whatcha doing this Saturday?
Luke: she's coming to a party with me.

The thought that Bella actually said yes just made my day. What more can get better I just hope Jessica doesn't mind. She probably won't her and Bella get along just fine.

*after school

Bella and I were walking out of the school when Jessica came up.

Jessica: Lukey
Luke: Jessy
Jessica: What are you doing today?
Luke:Nothing really why?
Jessica:Well Justin asked Amber out on a date and she said yes but she doesn't want it to be weird so she asked if we could go with her like a double date.
Luke: Um ok
Jessica: Ok see you later than.
Luke: Wait what time and where?
Jessica: Ill text you about it later.

As Jessica walked away Bella gave me a look of disappointment. what's up with her?

Luke:Hey what's wrong?
Bella: You really forgot?!
Luke: Forgot what?
Bella: Why do I even try?
Luke: Bella what are you talking about?
Bella: You seriously don't remember?
Luke: Remember what I'm so confused right now Bella please tell me.
Bella: You told me you would help me decorate my house for my moms party today.
Luke: Oh my god Bella I totally forgot it was your moms birthday today. If I would have remembered I would have told Jessica no.
Bella: Whatever it's fine go enjoy your date with them I'll just see if Calum or Michael can help.
Luke: You sure?
Bella:Positive.

*during the date

I was bored out of my mind everyone else was laughing and enjoying themselves, but me I couldn't, why you ask because I couldn't help but think about how I forgot about Bella's moms party.

Jessica: Aight that right Luke?
Luke: Huh? Oh yeah that's right.

I couldn't pay attention to anything all I could do was-

*buzz buzz buzz I got a text from Jessica.'hey can try to pay attention to whats going on' 'sorry I'm just thinking' 'well whatever your thinking about it needs to stop' 'ok' 'I'm serious and you better not be thinking about your friend Bella' The rest of the date was so long and slow.

*on the way home

Jessica:So were you thinking about Bella?
Luke: What?
Jessica: You heard me.
Luke: No I wasn't I just thought about how today was my moms birthday.
Jessica: Oh well tell your mom I said happy birthday.

I know that I lied to Jessica but what was supposed to do tell her that I was thinking about my crush of 6 years.
