My mom knocks at my door.
Y/n: Come in!
Mom walks in and sits down next to me. I'm laying on my bed and was reading a book.
Mom: Honey, your teacher called and told me what happened. Dad and I decided that you might need a new start.
I sit up and put down the book.
Y/n: What do you mean?
Mom: You will move to your aunt Melissa.
Y/n: Who?
Mom: My sister, Melissa. She has a son, Scott. He's your age. You met him when you were a baby.
Y/n: And when?
Mom: Next Monday.
Y/n: In four days?!
Mom: Beacon Hills is a lovely place!
Y/n: I don't wanna leave mom! I'll stop, okay? I'll go to a therapist just don't send me away!
She takes my hands and looks me in the eyes.
Mom: You lost someone y/n! I want you to feel good! That break will help you! You'll go to Beacon Hills High School with Scott and maybe you'll make some friends.
Y/n: I can't leave mom!
Mom: Please y/n! Don't make it more difficult than it already is!
Y/n: Mom don't! Please! I can't leave you and dad here! Who will protect you?
Mom: Not a 15 year old girl!
Y/n: I can!
Mom: Don't be silly!
Y/n: Don't send me away, mom! I promise mom, I'll change!
Mom: Don't change! I love you the way you are!
Y/n: Then don't try to get rid of me!
Dad: She's not trying to get rid of you!
He has been leaning at the doorframe and comes to me now. He hugs me and kisses my head.
Dad: Don't be scared! You'll love them!
Y/n: How do you know?! What if they're mean?
Dad: They're not! I promise!
Mom: We'll spend some extra time this weekend, okay?
Y/n: What about school tomorrow?
Mom: You can stay home, honey.
Y/n: I'll think of it!
She smiles and kisses my cheek. She stands up and leaves.
Dad: I know it's scary! Just try to be nice!
Y/n: I'm always nice dad!
Dad: Sure!
He laughs and leaves too. I bury my face in my hands and fall backwards.
