part 9

I walk through the hallway, looking for my best friend, Lily. Suddenly I see her and her brother, Liam entering the building. Liam looks good! I shake my head to shake off the thought. I run towards Lily and Liam. I wrap my arms around her and give Liam a shyly smile. He smiles back. I feel Lily's heartbeat slowing down a bit. She must be nervous! 

Y/n: C'mon, we're gonna get your schedule! 

I grab her hand and we get her schedule. Liam got his already and we all have the same class now. We enter the classroom and everyone looks at us. We sit down in the back. After a few minutes Coach comes in. 

Coach: I'm Coach!

Lily: We just gonna call you Coach?

Coach: Exactly Einstein! Wait! I don't know you! What are you doing in my class?

Lily: Trying to learn something, sir!

Coach *scoffing*: Sir! It's coach! C O A C H.

Lily: Copied!

Coach: Great!

He goes to her and bangs his hands on her table.

Coach: So, newbie!

Lily: Huh?

Coach: Could YOU tell US what the sustainability triangle is?

Lily: I'll try! Uhm, it tells us the three components, which are, built together, the things that have to be considered when the manufacturer wants to call his product sustainable.

Wow, my bestie is really smart!

Coach: And what are those three components?

Lily: Environment, meaning impact categories, Economic, meaning fairness, ethics and trust, and Economic, meaning critical success factors.

Okay, now I'm out! I can't even remember that and I'm some of Coaches best students! 

Coach: What school were you on, Ada Lovelace?

Lily: Ada Lovelace?

Coach: A brilliant mathematician.

Lily: But I'm not a mathematician! Actually I'm the opposite of it! I'm really bad at maths!

Coach: But you seem like a brilliant nerdy nerd girl!

Lily: I'm not!

Coach: Well, you know something! At least one person in this class!

He walks back into the front of the class.

Coach: Lemme give you your first homework! DO THE GOD DAMN READING I TOLD YOU TO DO!

Lily: What Reading, Coach?

Coach: You're free, Ada!

Lily: I'm fine with that!

I look at Liam and he smiles proudly.

After the class we go out and to the locker rooms. We have P.E. now. Unfortunately! I hate it! Even though I'm a werewolf. After changing, I walk out onto the lacrosse field, we'll have to run, I guess! 

Coach: WHAT ARE YOU STUPID ASSES ARE WAITING FOR?! RUN! 

We start jogging around the field. Scott appears next to me. 

Scott: Hey! 

Y/n: What?

Scott: I just wanted to ask, if you'd like to watch try-outs later?

Me: Sure! You'll be captain again, right?

Scott: Of course! 

Y/n: I'll be there! 

I speed up a little so I overtake him. I hear him getting closer so I speed up a little more. By now the other students are far behind us. 

Coach: MCCALLS! SLOW DOWN! 

Suddenly I feel a horrible pain in my leg and fall down. I roll over the hard ground and I feel the rough surface scratching deep inside my skin. I finally stop and my cousin and the others run to me. Everything hurts. 

Scott: Y/N!

Coach: What are you duckfaces are looking at?! Get help! 

I see Scott leaving and hear the other students going away too. I see Liam's ocean blue eyes coming closer to my face. 

Liam: Y/n? Do you hear me?

I weakly move my head up and down. Liam sighs relievedly. 

Scott: That's her! 

He and a woman kneel down next to me. I grab his shirt and pull him down.

Y/n *whispers*: You know, I'm gonna heal, right?

Scott *whispers*: Of course, but the others don't! 

Y/n: Dorks!

Scott wheezes. I slowly sit up and Scott puts a blanket around me. 

Scott: I'm gonna take her to the hospital! 

A few minutes later, we arrive at the hospital. We go inside. As soon as my aunt Melissa sees us, she rushes to us. We tell her what happened and she checks me worried. 

Melissa: I'm gonna check you! C'mon!

Y/n: I'm fine!

Melissa: We don't know what that sudden pain in your leg was! 

She brings me into a room and Scott leaves again. She checks my leg. 

Melissa: I think I found it! 

Y/n: What is it?

Melissa: You have a deep scratch there and some, not good looking, liquid is coming out of it! 

I look down. The liquid looks like yellow jelly. She wipes it off and after she has gotten everything of the weird liquid out of my leg, it stops hurting.

Melissa: Lay down! Your leg can still be weak! I don't know how much of it already got into your blood! 

Y/n: Listen Auntie, I'm fine! 

Melissa: I won't let you leave! And you won't! 

She gives me ''that look'' and I fall down on the bed smiling. She leaves the room and I close my eyes. I must've been tired because I fell asleep after 2 minutes.

I sit up and look around. I smelled something. Something weird. Suddenly something wraps around my throat. Not wrapping, more getting pressed against it. It's burning hot and feels like wire or something. I try to grab it and pull it away but someone presses it against my throat even more. I gasp for air. Suddenly the door gets slammed open and I only see two persons jumping out of the window. Scott runs to me and strokes over my head. I carefully put my fingers at my throat and when I look at the, I see blood. A lot of blood. Suddenly I start feeling dizzy and the only thing I remember is Scott, telling me to stay awake.
