You could barely see

Minho was very tired. His eyes were heavy, but every time they closed he would tic. There wasn't a clock in the room so he couldn't see what time it was, but it was already starting to get lighter outside.

Jisung on the other side of the room wasn't doing any better. His wrist was probably red and irritated from the hairtie he kept snapping. His breathing had been a little labored for a few hours now.

Minhos arm banged on the wall for the tenth time that night. It would probably be black and blue by the time they had to wake up.

"Is your arm okay?" Asked Jisung softly. Repeating the routine they had done for the entire night. "Yeah," he whispered. "Yours?"

Jisung hesitated for a moment. "Warm."

A soft knock sounded from the door before opening. Chans hair stood in all directions except the right one.

"Are you guys awake?"

"Yeah, come in," said Jisung.

Chan slowly walked the room in, his bare feet sticking to the floor. "Move," he whispered to Minho.

"Can't sleep again?" He asked the older boy while making space for him.

Chan chuckled. "Sleep is not in my vocabulary."

Minho and Jisung giggled awkwardly, not wanting to make a joke out of Chans insomnia.

"Beans," ticked Minho way too loud.

"Sorry guys."

They met up with the rest of the guys at breakfast. Half of them looked fairly good, given the situation they were in.

Jeongin wasn't there, and Seungmin explained with a very detailed drawing of a burning building with Jeongin holder a lighter next to it. It would have been comical if they didn't know the exact situation Jeongin was in.

Some of them had already experienced the wonderfull bliss that was the padded room. And knew how relieved they felt afterwards.

A young nurse came up to their table. "Hello," she said nervously. "Is there a Lee Minho here?"

Minho put up his hand and nodded, without saying anything.

"Can you come with me please."

"What's going on," he asked as they walked down some stairs.

The nurse tried not to look nervous, but failed horrendously. "Your parents are here," she said.

"Excuse me?" Minho paused. "I can't see them!" He practically yelled.

"You have to Minho, they requested it." The nurse walked up to him and layed her hand on his shoulder.

"Don't I have a say in it?" He asked.

Minho really didn't want to see his parents. They were the reason he lost all of his friends back home. They were why he was in this place in the first place.

"You know very well why you don't Minho," she said with a little more force.

"Come now before we have to force you."

Chan sat on the hot asphalt of the basketball field. The sun was making it's way trough the trees, heating up the black survace.
