Novas Pov:
As mine and Luke's laughter died down, I heard several skateboards headed our way. I pulled away from Luke as I turned to see boys, Savanh now with them. I smiled and waved at them.

"Heyyy." I said dragging out the 'y'. I got a few replies back as I went and grabbed my board. We all practiced some tricks before decided to record anything.

"Hey Nova." I heard from behind me. I turned to see Rico calling me. I smile and say, "What's up?"

"Wanna make a video with me?" He asked.

"Sure. What're we gonna do in the video?" I asked.

"Here i'll show you." He said while shifting his body toward mine so both me and him could see his phone.

"Oh ok cool. Let's go to the ramp." We headed to the ramp and got into position.

Once we finished, I could feel a pair of eyes burning holes into the back of my head. I turn to see Luke, looking extremely frustrated. He flickered his eyes towards Rico, stared for a second then stormed away.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion before turning away. What's his problem?

Once Rico posted the tiktok, I could feel my phone buzzing every second. I grab it from out of my back pocket and see a bunch of new followers on tiktok. I put my phone on do not disturb and put it back in my pocket.

After skating for a few hours, it started to get dark out. We didn't want to go home yet, so we decided to go on a mountain and watch the sunset, then head to a 7/11.

We went behind our high school, where there was a dirt trail, leading up to a mountain. We had to climb a gate to get to it since it was locked up. I threw my board over, being one of the last ones to climb. I dropped down with the help of my brothers hand in mine to help my fall.

Once we were all over the gate, we carried our skateboards and made small talk as we went up, cracking a few jokes in between. I was in a laughing fit as I realized we were at the top of the hill.

I was bent over holding my stomach from laughing, so as I sat up, I couldn't help but let out a slight gasp.

Before me was the most insane sunset you could ever see. It was over the city, clouds spread around the sky, as red, orange, blue, yellow and pink all covered the sky. The colors faded into each other so perfectly. I was mesmerized.

I felt a pair of eyes on me.

Pairs of eyes.

I turn to my right to see Luke looking at me as I was watching the sunset. I smiled and looked to my left, to see Rico doing the same. We made eye contact for a second before turning back to the sky.

We sat our boards down and settled onto them so we didn't have to sit in the dirt. We watched as the colors slowly turned into dark, as stars covered the sky, with the moon giving off just enough light to see.

A few people started to stand up, including me. We brushed ourselves off and grabbed our boards as the others slowly stood up. We started heading back the way we came.
