Black.

Some see black as the color of death

Some see it as an opportunity

But you know what I see it as?

Walls.

Black, dark, obsidian walls.

Built around my heart, to keep out the light.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Gray.

A storm.

Rumbling

Stumbling

Grumbling

In the sky

of my brain

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Red.

A cheerful color

A color of blood

A color of christmas

Some see red this way, I see it as anger

Anger.

Built up.

Years.

Trauma.

Walls.

Inclosing.

Please, won't someone get me out of my brain

It's a fucked up place, here.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Blue.

The sky

A baloon, on a happy day

Water, in a pond

A soft blanket

A childhood memory

A sea.

A sea of emotions

A sea of Sadness

Fear.

Pain.

A sea of brokeness

Doesn't it sound fun?

Come then, live inside my brain.

----------------------------------------------------------

Purple.

A grape.

A flower, blooming in a field.

A necklace.

A piece of love.

A piece I'll never feel.

A piece that won't get in.

Not in these walls.

They have knights.

Tall towers.

But apparently, not tall enough.
