Two, beautiful weeks have gone by since I asked Jade to be mine. so far, we have spent so much time together and it's been a blessing to get to know her. The more I learn her, the more I find myself once in more. She can be a little stubborn at times and her past is definitely something that I have to accept but it's worth it.

I have to admit I am the relationship type of guy. I don't like to entertain multiple women at a time or have feelings drifting for other people while I'm only seeing one person. When I ask someone to be mine, I am very committed and loyal- I just hope that she is the same with me.

I knew that today was going to be a good day when I woke up with Jade laying next to me. She has been spending the night here for the past few nights and it's been so fun. we've been learning how to cook together, we've been binge watching shows, and we've been playing board games with Samir. Of course, Samir has no idea that I'm dating the secretary of his school. I just told him that we are very good friends who like to spend time with one another- I would hate to confuse him.

"Daddy where is my school uniform?!" He the bottom of my shirt. I laugh while playfully slapping his hands away.

"Boy, today is Saturday. Gone somewhere." Embarrassed, he runs into the other room where Jade was at. She giggles as he hides his face in the couch pillows.

"Awn its okay Samir, I get my days mixed up all of the time." She looks over at me with a smirk. Damn, she even looks good in the morning. I don't know what it is.. but I feel like this relationship is actually going to last for a long time. I mean, I definitely wouldn't mind having more kids. I've always wanted at least five or six boys.. and maybe one girl. Emphasis on the maybe!

12:30 rolled around in a soon as you know it, I was the only one who had not been in the shower yet. So I left them two downstairs to play more boardgames and decided to take a long shower. Well, my definition of a long shower. Jade on the other hand takes SUPER long showers– I'm talking at least 45 minutes!

While in the shower, I started thinking about my life and if I was content with where I am right now. I know that music is my passion but I just feel like I haven't been putting in enough effort as I need to be to get where I want to be. I would really like to be known as an artist you know go on tours have my own cities have my song is playing on the radio that type of deal. But I don't think I crave being famous, I just want people to feel the vibe.

I remember when I was with Essence, my mom would always say that I was chasing a family when I should've been chasing my career. Was she right? I still question that to this day. like I said earlier when I am committed, I am very loyal to my person. I just hope that love doesn't stray me away from my true passion: music.

Damn, I've been in here thinking for a long time. Let me get out this bathroom.

As soon as I hop out of the shower into my bedroom, I hear Jade screaming my name. "BRENT!! Someone is at the door!" Then it clicked.

"Oh shit! It's Essence's weekend." I said to myself. "Give me 5 seconds!!!"

I hurried up and threw on some random clothes. I had no socks on in my hair was still dripping wet. As I ran downstairs to tell Jade to go into another room while I talk to Essence, she was already in my house.

"Hey Chris." Essence smiled as she flipped her hair. "You gonna introduce me or what?" She folded her arms.

"Mommy!! This is Daddy's specialllll friend! She works at my school and we've been spending a lot of time tog-"

"OKAY! Samir, go grab your weekend bag. It's already packed in your room. Kay buddy?" I kneeled down to him and gave him a hug. He refused to hug me back.
