BRIM CENT.

They were almost inseperable. They were the best of friends, the best duo imaginable.
Brian came from a part Bulgarian and part American background, given an English/American name, whereas Tim simply existed in England, never really went out of the country either, making him plain old British. It wasn't an issue though, it didn't affect their friendship, nothing did. They never got into fights over girls, they had eachother after all.
No, they were not dating, they had a close, too close friendship. They'd smoke Mary Jane and take LSD together, they'd drink, play old video games and talk about things with no real worth. Tim was the brain, Brian was the brawn. A classic type duo to say the least.

-

The two sat in the library, Tim was reading about the first world war, considering he was having a history test soon. He had Brian next to him.
They had been the best of friends since their taster day, which was the day the children would come and see what the school was like or a.. positively exaggerated version of it.
They were in their last year of secondary now, and they'd have their exams soon. It was overwhelming, sure, but the two believed in eachother more than themselves and would help eachother out no matter what. Some may have said they had some sort of relationship, but they always just said they were friends.
While yes, they were friends, and close ones at that, they also were more intimate in private, mostly cuddling as they weren't seen as attractive enough by anyone else in their school for a relationship, so they stuck with eachother.

"Mate, do you want me to revise it with you?"

"Yeah, sure."

Brian set the book between them, they went over the words and Brian tested Tim on his knowledge. They'd commonly revise together, in fact they'd do everything together. And I don't mean that lightly, at all.

"We have English now, then I have history... you have geography, don't you lo- I mean, Brian."

Tim stammered, they'd refer to eachother affectionately, but preferred not to do it in public, as they both agreed it would put them both into some kind of trouble with their peers, they weren't the most accepting after all.

"Yeah, I'll wait for you outside, you're going to M3-4, right?"

Tim nodded. The two walked to Brian's geography class, fist bumping goodbye, Tim then walking back to his, he had Mr Zalgo, great.
He entered the room and sat down, he sat next to a girl named Katherine Chase, who went by Kate. The two were.. certainly acquaintances, some may even say friends, although Tim would insist Brian was his one true friend until the end.

"Hey, what's up?" Kate asked.

Tim sat with his book open and pen down, he seemed to have zoned out, he turned to Kate, lost for words before speaking up, other than Brian he'd never really talk to anyone, they were exclusive.

"Not.. Not much, just a lot on my mind." Tim nodded slowly, writing down necessary information from the board.

"Oh yeah, I get it. Things are mad now, innit? Apparently that gay boy in year 8 got beat up by a year 12 in another school cause he likes boys. The world's just sort of gone to shit, innit?" Kate preached, she was based.

"Oh my gosh, that's horrid.." Tim said, he was genuinely shocked, his expression said it all.

"Yeah, it was that Benjamin idiot in year 8, some people think he has a crush on the white boy, Jeff."

For reference, Kate was Wasian, and had a bad history with fully white people considering her Asian genes were very dominant, since she was frequently fetishized, and all.

"I hope he's alright nonetheless.." Tim said, writing as he spoke to Kate, before Mr Zalgo walked up to them.

"Oi, you two." He bellowed.
