Time to boost morale

I hastily put on my PE uniform and head outside, they all seem to be really sleepy, funny. The cold air splashes my face, if I'm not awake enough, I am definitely awake now. Aoyama and I are the only ones who seem to be really alive, not those yawning zombies who are training to be heroes.

"Ohayo, mina-san." Aizawa sensei breaks the deafening silence by greeting us, he seems more awake than my classmates, which says a lot. "Today is the day your training camp really begins. The aim of this training camp is to increase everyone's ability, and obtain the provisional license that comes with that. To prepare you for the hostilities that will come your way. Give it your best. So, Bakugo," Sensei finally comes to a stop, tossing the same ball from our first day of high school which Katsuki catches effortlessly.

Katsuki gives a hum for a response, looking at sensei attentively, "try throwing that." sensei says, Tsuki looks at the ball for a moment, then opens his mouth.

"Is this from the test?" he asks Aizawa sensei who nods his head.

"Your previous record, right after you enrolled, was 705.2 meters. Let's see how you've improved." Sensei continues, Katsuki walks over to a space without our classmates and recoils his hand to shoot.

Some exclaims come from the class while Katsuki stops behind Aizawa sensei, he throws the ball, making those little circle puffs of smoke, yelling the same 'SHINE' or 'DIE'. "Seven hundred and nine point six meters." Aizawa sensei announces, Katsuki's eyes shoot open.

I make a confused sound, raising my eyebrows in a 'what the' manner. My mouth is agape while Katsuki's eyes are full of anger and rage, the same way he looks at Deku, but now, he's just looking into the distance.

"It's been three months since you started school. After various experiences, it's true that you've improved. But only in the mental and technical level. And some increases in stamina, of course. But as you saw, your quirks haven't improved as much. Starting today, we will be focusing on improving your quirks." Sensei informs us, smiling with what Present Mic says 'you need a teacher to teach you how to smile' smile.

. . .

My whole body is pumping with adrenaline, I've- my whole class has been training since 5:40 AM. Aizawa sensei can be all sweet and caring but he can also be hard core. Although he does it for our own good, it's still pretty hard.

I've been redirecting everything in the area towards Kirishima who breaks it all, the trees, rocks, sometimes I just hit him with some air, I even tried to redirect my sweat to make it cut, it cut through a small part of the tree, it is so cool.

Now, I'm trying to redirect Aoyama's sparkly rainbow laser shots, I asked him to shoot it at me since I want to make my quirk better, I used telekinesis twice now. I'm sure I can save people better than last time, I surely will win the next sports festival.

"Eh?" I confusedly ask, Aoyama stopped shooting me, "oh, you're puking again. Take your time, Aoyama-kun." I tell him and move over to a clear space, I haven't tried redirecting something I can't see, I mean, I have, the time when Shoto stayed over and I redirected water from downstairs, but the next day, Obasan told me the kitchen was a mess when she woke up.

I can try redirecting the water from the soil, or the rocks down below. I close my eyes, I crouch and touch the ground. Concentrating on everything I feel underneath my feet. I redirect the water, the ground under me shifts, suddenly, small spurts of water come from the ground.

"Good job, Yukine-kun." Ochako's voice booms behind me, startling me, making me jump a little.

"Arigato, what about your quirk development?" I ask her, standing up from my previous crouching position.
