Naruto's Big Sister (A Gaara/ Sasuke Love Story)

Chapter 5- Preliminary Rounds!

We all line up, me on the end with no squad behind me. They announce that we have to do preliminaries, and make us all go up to the balcony. Sasuke fights first. His opponent: Yuroi Acado. A ninja who steals others chakra.

Kasina leans on the railing beside Naruto and smacks his arm.

"You will get your chance." She whispers, then hears Kakashi stiffle a laugh from behind her. She rolls her eyes as sand wraps around her waist and yanks her towards Gaara. Temari and Kankuro take a step back as he wraps an arm around her

"Hey Kankuro, Temari, you two better watch out. I'll give him cookies later of you don't stop."

"Not cookies.. Anything but cookies." They both say and Kasina laughs. Garra smirks slightly at the thought.

I look back down at the fight to see that Sasuke won, but then collapsed on the floor. Kakashi went and picked him up, flashing off somewhere.

Round 2 was announced. Kasina vs. Genji Hitari, a leaf ninja who she hadn't heard of.

They both jump down into the ring and Genji is around 3 times taller than me.

She shakes his hand and then gets into a fighting position. He watches her closely, both of them waiting on the other to make the first move. Kasina charges forward and slams her fist into his gut, just as he throws down a smoke bomb. She jumps up and out of it, leaving Genji still somewhere inside. She takes out 8 kunai, holding them between each of her fingers and throw them inside of the smoke. She hears a grunt of pain as she lands back into the smoke, and she grins. She throws shuriken towards the sound and hear even more grunts of pain as the smoke begins to clear. She breathes in and realizes that it has a trace of knock out medicine in it. She quickly runs up to him and he stabs her through the side with a katana just as she sends a punch to the back of his neck and knock him out.

She pulls the Katana out of her side, careful not to make the wound worse, or hit any vital spot, even though he did graze one, just as I'm declared winner.

"Shoot. I was hoping not to get injured..." She says, pressing her hand to the wound.

Gaara and Kakashi are suddenly by my side. Kakashi looks at Garra while he just ignores him. Kakashi kneels in front of me, and smiles.

"You did good, Kasina. Lets get you to the medics." He stands up and wraps his arm around me for support, considering as when she tried to step forward, she stumbled.

She gets to a room with a few medics and they finish healing most of the wounds but tell her to give it a week before she can start training again. They wrap it up tightly and send her back out to watch the match. We were in there for a really long time. We get back up to the platforms just as Gaara begins his fight.

Kasina watches as Garra fights Rock Lee, seemingly winning. She slams my hand on the railing when I notice he's been hurt. Rock Lee was actually beating him? Naruto lays his hand on hers, squeezing it lightly.

"He'll be fine, Dattebayo."

She smiles at him, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"Sasuke and Gaara are both strong. But, Nii-San, who do you like better?"

"Personally, Sasuke is less of an asshole than that Gaara guy."

She raises up and punches his arm. "That's my boyfriend your talking about!"

"You never took this up with me!"

"Well, I didn't think I had to!!"

"Of course you have to! I'm your brother, I'm supposed to know everything!"

"That is not how it works!"

"Yes it is!"

"No it's not!"

"Yes it is!"

"No it's not!"

"Yes it is!"

"Yes it is!"

"No it's not!" He then realizes what happens and glares at Kasina. "Damn it!"

She laughs at him while pointing as he stomps towards her. She takes off in a sprint, not knowing at the time that the match had concluded, and she slams into someone knocking them down, which gives Naruto a chance to catch up.

"Kasina! I'm always right!"

"But you agreed with me," she says, getting up then looking down at the person she knocked over.

"Gaara!" She say as he stands up and I hug him.

"Hurt your sister and I kill you." Garra says blankly at Naruto, then grabs her waist and takes her down to the ring where they made the winners line up. Once down there the finalists had to draw numbers for the first fight.

Neji Hyuga-2

Sasuke-3

Gaara-4

Kankuro-5

Shino-6

Temari-7

Shikamaru- 8

Dosu-9

Kasina-10

Haji- 11

With the odd number of people that finished, they draw to see who has to fight 2 people. It turns out to be Shikamaru, who is supposed to fight Temari, gets to fight Dosu as well. 

The 3rd exam is set up like a tournament. Kasina was just glad that didn't have to fight Gaara, Sasuke, or Naruto. Lucky for her, she was in the other end of the bracket.  The guy in charge announces that everyone has a month before the 3rd exam, and that the month is for training.

Now if Kasina could get a trainer and then proceed tiet away from Gaara and Sasuke for a month, then maybe she would also have time to face the inevitable choice between which of the two guys she wanted.

Now, if she could just find a person to train with.
