C H A P T E R 9

(Muichiro's pov)

I haven't seen Y/n then.

2 days later, I was allowed to leave the butterfly estate.

Some scars were still visible, but most of them faded away.

I could see my house come into view.

It's been a while since I came here.

I open my front door, only to see a girl sleeping peacefully on the table.

Y/n.

You must be tired.

I knee down to go up close to her face.

I patted her head a few times before carrying her bridal style to my room.

I gently placed her down, and closed the door quietly.

What was she doing here?

I mean the house was pretty clean.

She's probably been cleaning my house for the past few days.

I walked to a window and noticed the flower she gave me started dying.

The petals turned into a darker shade than it's original state.

I grabbed a small cup and filled it with water.

I promise to keep this flower alive until the day I die.

For the next few hours, I just sat in the kitchen zoning out, until I heard thumping upstairs.

Y/n came storming down the stairs.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"IM SORRY I FELL ASLEEP. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWAKE. IM SORRY IM SORRY."

"Oh- it's okay. I don't mind. You were tired, from the way you looked, I knew."

We both stared at each other.

"Well, what do you want to do? I already cleaned everything." Y/n replied.

"I dunno."

The tension between us was suddenly... awkward?...

"Wanna do some training?" She asks.

"Sure." I replied.

We grabbed some old katanas we used to train, and walked out to the backyard.

First, we got into our fighting positions, then began. The training session went on until there was a slight issue.

I accidentally swung my sword at Y/n. She was able to dodge it, but it got caught in her face covering.

It ripped and fell off her face.

I quickly turned around and covered my eyes before I could see her face. Just so I was being respectful.

"SORRY. SORRY. SORRY. IM SO SORRY Y/N!! I DID NOT PURPOSELY DO THAT, IT WAS AN ACCIDENT. SORRY." I apologized.

"It's okay." She chuckled. "I'm gonna go get a new one, stay here."

I heard the door slam shut.

That meant she had left.

I slowly uncovered my eyes.

THAT WAS SO DUMB OF ME. WHY DID I DO THAT. AGH.

I sat down under a tree, and waited till Y/n came back.

Just as I almost fell asleep, I heard footsteps stomp towards me.

I looked up.

Y/n changed back into her usual look.

"Okay, I'm back."

"Do you want to continue or?..." I asked.

"Mmm... let's take a break then keep going."

I nodded.

She sat next to me, and laid her head on my stomach.

I know it was a few days, but I've missed you Y/n.
