(Muichiro's pov)

Me and the hashiras ran through the crowded forest.

Only trees and darkness surrounded us.

We've been running for a while now and stopped once a while to take a break.

"Why are we doing so much just for y/n the little kakushi?" Sanemi questioned.

"Well not only is she important to the demon slayer corps, but it's a sign Muzan is up to something." Giyuu answered. "Use your common sense."

I sat on a tree branch above the others.

Instead of getting into the commotion, I just stared ahead.

"Oi Muichiro!" Sanemi calls for me.

"If it's about y/n Im not saying anything." I replied.

"Ah just leave him alone. He's already upset." Shinobu adds.

I scoff and look away.

"Shall we keep going?" Rengoku asks.

Everyone nods then looks up at me.

"Muichiro? Don't you want to save your girl." Sanemi teases me.

"Tch your annoying."

"I'll take that as a yes!" Rengoku points a finger up. "Let's keep going."

Just as we were all prepared to keep going, a crow flew down and landed on a tree.

"KAW! KAW! THE DOCTOR HAS BEEN SPOTTED! SHE IS HIDDEN INSIDE THE NEAREST TOWN! I REPEAT THE DOCTOR HAS BEEN SPOTTED!"

"How close is the nearest town?" Uzui asks.

"JUST KEEP WALKING NORTHWEST TILL YOU SEE LIGHTS! KAW KAW!"

"You heard that guys? We're going northwest." He announces again as if we didn't hear the first time.

All the hashiras start running but I kinda just took my time to walk.

I had no motivation or energy.

Yes, I do want to save her but... it feels like I'm aching from pain.

"HURRY UP MUICHIRO!" I hear Sanemi call from a distance.

Before I get jumped by the wind hashira, I decided to just force myself to run again.

I ran and kept running as if y/n was at the end of the tunnel waiting for me.

I cant even imagine what she's going through right now.

What could they even possibly do to her?

Turn her into a demon. Torture her. Kill her?!

Nono.

I shook my head.

What's the point of kidnapping her in the first place if they just wanna kill her.
