Every movement swift. Every glance was as sharp as a razor. Every touch in heated desperation, as the shadow of the new moon, retreats finally from the earth, and the sun engulfs the world again.
18 months of waiting. 18 months of growing. 18 months of anticipating this moment. Only for it to slip away like restful hours to the insomniac.
There is only one other time in the year that ebbs this painfully fleeting moment.
